An eventful night at Leicester, in which Long Eaton battled to secure a draw, despite both Robert Parker and Adam Sheppard being forced to withdraw with machinery troubles after just one ride each, and one point between them. The Invaders started three of the six heats with only one rider, but with skipper Lee Geary looking somewhere near back to his best, ably supported by Alex Wilson....and, it must be said, assisted by Lightnings' Layne Cupitt suffering two falls.....the point was hard won.
