tellboy
Batch was very clever IMO when lowering his average. Ward was coming in regardless. Morris was on fire and is a club asset. Batch been poor all season. There was only 1 choice for the axe. But he did what he had to do to save his job. Would we all not do the same if our jobs were under threat? If only more people in Britain were so worried about being out of work. He did what he was told to do I would think. No rider will have a clue which way their averages were going and by how much. They don't even know what match scores are in the meetings they are in,sometimes come out in the wrong helmet colours. So i would stick my neck out by saying he was told what to score. Grachan
There is a case for using pokoc but there is no need for the extra vowel especially as knockout is one word, besides suggesting that teams were racing in the rain for the play off koc would make it sound stupid and there's no need for that is there? Thanks for that. Yes, we wouldn't want it to sound stupid, would we!
mdmc82
Have the rules changed then? Thought you couldn't drop an assessed rider until they did minimum 10 matches? ? Or is this just to suit Swindon? I also thought if a rider had a EL average then that had to be used but says Summers is using a converted PL average? BritPete
I think that this is a very difficult one to call, it could go either way. Swindon have got some riders that can score here, but Belle Vue have a few too.
mdmc82
Looking at the current weather channel forecast for the coming week,(although we know how it changes) Swindon could be looking at rain offs Wed, Thur and a chance maybe Friday which could make this even more important. Tonight's prediction 40-50 (sorry Belle Vue 😕) Edited August 17, 2015 by mdmc82
DunRobin
I also thought if a rider had a EL average then that had to be used but says Summers is using a converted PL average? Is it because his converted PL average is higher than his EL average which is about 5 years old?

rudger
No evidence required. Batch needed to drop his average to fit Ward, and it worked. Blatant as you like. Fair play u are one miserable sod , Swindon this Swindon that , if your management at Wolves got off there rear end and made some changes to your team the supporters might have a more optimistic outlook instead of "I'm a Belle Vue fan now , they are my second team " rip your own team to shreds rather than one who is attempting to give us a chance , we ain't broke no rules cause that's what a governing body is there for , glass half empty you are , be glass half full , Ward was available we got him , Kracmar was not good enough we changed him , Most of Wolves team poor , tell u what instead of trying to improve let's stick with our formula , impressive !!!! BluPanther
How more unprofessional can this sport get... ''Meeting delayed to 7.45pm due to Tyres not arriving''
mdmc82
How more unprofessional can this sport get... ''Meeting delayed to 7.45pm due to Tyres not arriving'' What a joke. It's not going to give Belle Vue long to get sorted if they still haven't got their tyres in what could be their most important meeting of the season. Why was it left so late? I can imagine Swindon will get the blame for that , we appear to be accused ,blamed for lots of other stuff according to some sad buggers

Nobody will touch Darcy 2nite & all yours r winning races which we aren't so far - hoping it turns round in 2nd half of meeting!!! Summers looks really quick as does Zengota. Gonna go to the wire this & think if we win that it'll be close & you'll get a point

Said to my mates last week that Wright is the key man now for rest of the season. If he does well then we seem to get good results. If he struggles then we don't ever look like winning.
