Grachan
what about him? I refer the honourable gentleman to the answer I gave some moments ago. It doesn't matter how often Emil can race against and beat top riders in league and open meetings. To be the best rider in the World he has to win the World title.
Grand Central
It is certainly a shame, for us spectators, that Emil is choosing to miss the SGP. No doubt. But no more than that. This is his choice. Or at least it is his choice to take the advice of others who tell him that this is right choice. So why are we fussng so much. We all make choices, some of them better than others. But we must each live with the outcome. In later life he will probably regret it greatly. And hopefully he will take it out on an elderly Suzzi. BWitcher
Word titles not as prestigious as it used to be. Are you a OneSport fanboy? by his management or the organisers ? Let's put it this way, did Emil have issues with the GP before OneSport came on the scene?
RPNY
Whatever the reasons they need to sort it. I know I will get absolutely shot down for this, but with 3 Aussies already in it, no Darcy and the title already sewn up I think they should go all out to make Emil the Melbourne Wild Card. Dave the Mic
Emil not being in the GP is all about money, pure and simple. Either he is being paid so much with a "no GP" strings attached rule to be the "face of the SEC", or he is being greedy. Either way, it seems he no longer harbours the desire to be world champion, which is a shame, I guess, but in the grand scheme of things, the sport is bigger than one rider. As for Dawkins 20's comment. Of course. Doh!
Trees
We all know that any of the top boys on their day could be World Champion, Emil is no different. Why doesn't someone run an Unofficial One Meeting World Final and invite Emil and Tai. Any promoter can do it, that's how it works these days ..... He doesnt have anything to prove to the modern fan thats true but no one will know who he was in 20 years and thats a massive shame for a rider as good as he is Rubbish ...... Dawkins20
Absolute rubbish. Well then must be another reason why riders refuse to participate and cities with great racing tracks doenst want to organise GP meetings... RPNY
1 rider doesnt and that is because he's had his hand forced. What cities dont want to stage a GP (Im not asking that being an arse, genuine question mate)

oldace
Its like you wanted to prove my point i have no idea who they are. Started watching Speedway in about 2000. That just shows your complete lack of knowledge on the sports history. Emil will certainly be remembered, probably in the same way Tommy Knudsen, the Morans, Leigh Adams etc are remembered, very good riders, riders who on their day could beat the very best but ultimately didn't have what it takes to be world champion.
