WAS talking specifically about Meridian Lifts

He was talking about the time when he was a meeting sponsor, rather than clock sponsor. And of course anything can be bought at the right price. It would be foolish to believe otherwise in this world

He has gone all quiet now he is back doing a bit of sponsoring, but how long will that last and then he will be back blowing the lid off of even more BSI goings on :t:

Ok. Good thing I forgot to mention that HA was left without one for 2005... The year he would have won the lot, whatever it was.

I would be shocked if sponsors opinions were not sought. We know they pick wild cards based on nationality for commercial reasons so it makes sense to pick them based on what sponsors want, for commercial reasons. I've no issue with it tbh.

I need an English translation of the English translation ;) .

Oh well, certainly no Emil in the GP next year

It just makes no sense to me. Dump the SEC and the best pairs and suddenly he's barely riding any extra meetings by being in the GP series.

I think the world in which Emil inhabits has somehow convinced him that the SEC means something and is as relevant as the GP.

Regardless of which of them can ride a bike better, as things stand history will show that Tai Woffinden was a great rider and Emil Sayfutdiniv achieved nothing in World terms.

If he says the GP is too much for him then he can never be seen as someone who might have won it.

FFS just deal with it. He doesnt want to ride there for whatever reason. He doesnt care about history books, if he never wins a GP he is still one of the greatest rider of his era if you cant see that you are blind.

Leigh Adams is one of the best riders I've ever seen. Never won the World Championships, so he'll never go down as an all time great.

Same with Emil. If he's good enough to be World champion then he needs to prove it.

If Leigh Adams had never entered the World Championships people would probably have said the people like Rickardsson and Crump's achievements were undermined by that because Leigh would probably have won many titles.

The reality is that he never. Who's to say it's not the same with Emil?

Truth is he doesnt need to prove anything to you or anyone else. He never said he could win the gps or he is better rider than anyone else. BTW GPs didnt have the best 15 rider in the last 5 years, not even close.

Enjoy his racing in Poland, Sweden and SEC.

No, he doesn't need to prove it. It seems you are a fan of his, does it really not frustrate you that he won't try to prove himself in World terms?
