thecoombdog
I hate dogs. And I wouldn't want one anyone near me at speedway. But I wouldn't complain if someone took one. I would just move! Simple really.

Happy Hunter
A great night of competitive speedway and yet much of the thread is taken up by whether a dog should be taken to meetings or not. Simple, if the promoter allows it, the dog remains calm (welfare of the dog paramount) and he/she poses no danger to the public then why the hell not. Kids running around the track perimeter without any parental guidance is a bigger issue for me. Back to the team. The injured cannot come back too soon, Masters, Auty & Lambert when fully fit would have been a match for anyone. The Lions as we all know have been dogged (no pun intended) all season with injuries, guests have filled in with varying degrees of success. What they need is a strong No.5 to backup Doyley who can ride Leicester but more importantly ride the away tracks. The Lions simply are too weak away from home. Can someone explain why we never seem to get a decent guest in to replace Josh Auty? According to the BSP FTR sheet in the Green Sheet Averages we can have any rider on the list apart from Kyle Newman. Any chance of seeing Garrity ride for us or some of the other big hitters on the list? Again last night it all boiled down to how well the guest reserves did. Our top 5 were better then Kings Lynn's. Our reserves were not in the same class as theirs.
semion
How old are these dogs ? Do they pay full price or do they get a concession ? That's how Speedway can increase its gates. Get more dogs in. Track shops could do a fortune in little black bags with Skull and Crossbones Printed on them lol Edited August 16, 2015 by semion
weatherwatcher
I have always wondered why the Lions management pick the replacement reserves that they do, we have had some terrible guest reserves this season, so why do they not bring in the Garritys etc or is it that they don't want to pay all those extra points money out. Garrity wasn't available due to fixture clashes in last couple. He is meant to be guesting for Leicester tomorrow but not sure if he is now as out injured with his back. Has he declared himself fit then? Was meant to be guesting but injured his back yesterday and said he might have to sit Monday out. If fit he would be brilliant guest at wolves

IainB
Well, we'll no doubt find out next week when Wolverhampton are the visitors. Do Leicester allow Wolves in to the Stadium?
