g13webb
If what I hear is true, I believe Robert is getting too big for his boots. ( or being wrongly advised) As the rumour goes, now he is regarded as a heat leader, he wants his contract adjusted....! ( That's a bit naughty) If true, The I suggest Robert wants to think back of how the Club and Buster has helped him along the way and given him all the opportunities you could wish for. Probably, you are regarded as an heatleader here, but only because others haven't ridden as well as was hoped, not because the points you have scored. When you go out and win most of your races and have an average around 8 or 9 then you can think you're special. Until then, I suggest you pipe down and get on with what you are paid to do. Let your riding do the talking...... Edit: Comment based purely on rumours heard last night from reliable sources. Don't normally listen to them, but, there no smoke without fire Will be interesting to see what happens this week......
SteveLyric2
I wonder what the odds might be of Ward and Lambert being in the same team next season?!
mdmc82
Would back up what has been said at Peterborough as well. Whilst the lad could have a big future in speedway, he isn't the best at this moment. His attitude isn't going to help him and he doesn't want to burn bridges with Promoters & clubs along the way. TBF on both of king's Lynn's recent visits to Brandon he was average and not a match winner for them, he was easily beaten by our reserves. Kerr & NKI were their stand out riders but I bet they didn't demand more. Woffy & Holder are already world class when on form and have been world champions and although Tai isn't here this year, both still have respect for their British clubs and don't think they are the team when they ride for them. No one rider is bigger than the club I hope somebody can have a word in his ear and put Lambert on the right track (and not his mother) I wonder what the odds might be of Ward and Lambert being in the same team next season?! I imagine Swindon fans wouldn't say no to having both 😉 Edited August 14, 2015 by mdmc82
Haza
Darcy mark 2 so I hear, such a shame if it's true as buster won't keep him at Lynn if he is as far I'm concerned sooner he goes the better - buster certainly won't be held to ransom by a 17 year old .
Trees
As I wondered, surely heat leaders should be earning more than second strings? And second strings less than heat leaders ...... If indeed this is gospel, just to say when we, in "normal jobs", go for a job with more responsibility we expect more money don't we? In the old days YES, but this current format with heatleaders riding against other heat leaders, diminishes the difference between them and 2nd strings, but the class is there too see...... I'd have him at wolves in a heartbeat. We need the lad in the UK more than he needs us.

Haza
Milik looking to ride in SEC Saturday which means no facility , we have a 6pt PL rider lined up was that ever in doubt ? We need to dump Millik before he gets a new lower average a lower average that will help parent club Poole in 2016 dump him ASAP - Michelsen is the obvious replacement I feel . g13webb
I never understood the logic of signing Milik in the first place, and the fact he chooses to ride in the SEC, rather then for his club, when results are of paramount importance clearly verifies my thinking. If riding this weekend was of relevance it would be different, but we all know he is only an 'also ran', there, to make up the numbers... Give me someone who is committed to the Club everytime. Looking at this replacement is really tragic, cos Rory was always committed. 200%

Isn't this the fault of the promotion?

Skodaman
Updates for me . Not spending hard earned cash on this rubbish meeting. Looking at the number of folk on updates, around 800, it would make a good crowd for some tracks!!

Isn't this the fault of the promotion? Probably so. But (a) this important fixture should have been sorted before he signed, and ( if it wasn't it ought to have been. Winning at Leicester is imperative if we are to reach the playoff, with a lucrative Semi-final at stake.... If we cant win this we stand no chance of getting a result against Coventry, Swindon or Poole, especially with riders missing......

I agree tomorrow night is our most important meeting of the season 4 points would be fantastic and 3 points is an absolute must .
Panthers89
Milik has Stevebrum already said, was riding in the SEC first, and all his sponsors will rather him be a on a TV stage instead of being at Leicester I'm sure.

I agree that's not the main point the question I have is why he wasn't racing for Lynn last night and if he wasn't fit for that whys he riding tomorrow yes it's 48 hours later but for me it's a case of couldn't be arsed
