14 riders, 6 of them guests...not really Kings Lynn v Leicester then.

Not to mention the paucity of Brits in a British Elite League meeting. :nono:

Good win for the Stars.Guests got what I would have expected the Lynn riders would have got.Paid 7 from Lamberts rides maybe about right as well.

Thought Walasek looked very good for Leicester would have score more but for Doyle nearly wiping him out in heat 15.

Onto Leicester on Saturday and hope our guests whoever they are can do the same as tonight.I did hear Watt is in for Milik whether that's true I don't know.

thankfully all done before the rain came, but meeting was a bit of a cold baked puddin' with not a lot to get excited about imo. Good win though helped by good guests particularly old boys Wolbert and Wilkinson. NKI was a bit below par getting outgated 3 times but stilleasily the top Star again ... but the regular Stars (all 3 of 'em!) did ok too tbh :)

Is Coventry next week tho so we'll need to be sharper than tonight i hope! ofc Having Robert, Niklas + Vaclav back would help too .... :P

Crucial win, guests rode well, some tactical riding out there I felt so the Stars didn't fall foul of the old tac ride. Lovely speech by Kevin and Dale about Lewis and the win was of course dedicated to him 😊

Onto Leicester on Saturday which I can't come to, hope the guys can get something out of that, 3/4 points hopefully, go it Stars!!!!!!!

What was so impressive about the meeting was the slick presentation of getting the heats flowing nicely. With the threat of rain, forecasted at 9pm, a rush meeting was the only way to get the job done. Apart from an extended track grade after the watershed heat 10, there were no stoppages at all. We didn't have one rerun. What a difference it made. Meeting done and dusted before 9pm, in the Car and on the road, when right on time the heavens opened..... Just goes to show what can be done when you put your mind to it......

The meeting was as predicted. The Stars done an efficient job to secure the points without needing to do to much. The guests all rode well enough, but I'd like to think the riders they replace would have done better. The track in view of the weather was bare and offered little racing. Gates was so important, Once the rider was passed the 2nd bend, positional changes were limited to mistakes.

Not the best meeting I've been too.................... But pleased I went...... :t:

Depending on how long they are both out for though I'm sure Millik will be fit for the euro round Saturday I'd consider dumping both of them - it's all about the next few meetings if we don't make top 4 season will be over at Lynn in August. Millik definitely should go - Lambert if not back by next Wednesday should also go

Talking of Wednesday, I noticed Hans & Iversen's Danish teams both have meetings the same night. Does anybody know if this means they will be likely to be missing? Not sure if it's rearranged.

Apart from the SWC which is all together a different animal it is one of the better meetings i've seen at Lynn. When that funny dirt is down it's only KL riders that can ride it. As for riding tactically. They hardly pulled away after ht 11 did they. Well done Lions

no not at all Millik wasn't fit to ride at Lynn last night but I'd bet a dead cert to line up in Saturday euro round when we are away at Leicester with a NL guest to cover for him - Lambert if he's out for the rest of August what's the point in keeping him in the team it's all about top 4 Finnish . And with Lambert from what I hear there are other issues. Edited by Haza
