Najjer
Kurtz had an off- night and seriously needs to learn about team riding and not being so reckless. Grajczonek, Wright and Starke to be honest rode well and mixed it with the monarchs. Greenwood was poor in heat two but after that had two hard heats, so a bit unfair to count those two heats. Worrall and Lanham were diabolical and have been for a while (apart from the odd meeting). Think they need replacing if we are to stand a chance in the play-offs. Monarchs, nothing really needs saying it was a solid performance and deserved the victory. Worrall doesn't need replacing, as he's scoring very well away from home. He just needs to buck his ideas at the OTA and do it quickly!

Could he not just get 'injured' before each home meeting - R/R would score far more You're right, he is scoring well away from the OTA - particularly when guesting for other teams! TheScotsman
Could he not just get 'injured' before each home meeting - R/R would score far more You're right, he is scoring well away from the OTA - but mainly guesting for other teams! Even if he was injured from each home meeting I doubt he would match Smiling Sam's immaculate 12 point maximum from r/r AWAY from home!! He just needs to buck his ideas at the OTA and do it quickly! He has scored well once or twice away from home but not regulary. As last night showed if brady has an off night we need Ritchie to come to the fore and he doesn't.
EnglishRoundabout
I am convinced Ritchie has a mental block when it comes to riding the OTA. He is scoring well almost everywhere BUT Somerset. In his first race last night he seemed in a trance, gazing at the green light for so long, he actually seemed surprised that the tapes went up! In heat 9 he did his utmost to keep the rider behind him.... Trouble was, it was Charles Wright!! It was plain for all to see that Wrighty gave him both barrels as they went back to the pits! Credit where it's due though, the Rebels were outdated and out ridden. Cook, Riss, Sedgmen and to a lesser extent Wolbert, we're all in fine form. Rider replacement I noticed, somehow escaped the traditional 'bumps' at the pit gate!
ruffdiamond
Newcy Brown man I reckon! Well,,, he guested at Newcastle recently and, was involved in one of the best races in recent history, as some have claimed,,, and he won, which may tell it's own story

Gr8scot
Looks like his mammy cut it with a pair of pinking shears and the pudding bowl. Personal insults..... No need for that!!! Huge well done to our Monarchs for such a great tour and thanks to all the Somerset fans who congratulated us and also applauded our boys on the post match parade
womble53
56.15 in heat 4 or 5 and a 56.2something in an earlier one Think you'll find that those times are nowhere near correct, the fastest time recorded in the meeting was 56.59, by Cook in Heat 4, equalling the second fastest time of the season, set by Nick Morris. Brady Kurtz still holds the fastest time of the season at 56.44 Don't know where Sky got their times from, but none of the times you quoted as broadcast by them are accurate, and don't correspond to those announced by the official time keeper on Tuesday night. Having said that I would agree with your general point about the track. After their track walk, all the home riders expressed themselves happy with the racing surface Greenwood was poor in heat two but after that had two hard heats, so a bit unfair to count those two heats. Think you need to go back and re-watch the race Kelvin. Ollie was doing well until a slight error saw him clip the rear wheel of Max Clegg as he tried to cut back underneath him, which cost him some momentum and let in Branford, who then ran him wide (fairly) coming into the straight. To say he was poor is far from the truth Edited August 13, 2015 by womble53

That's bizarre that sky use their own race times! They never mention them either - just flash a number briefly on the screen.

Shadders
Tuesday's result has obviously triggered something at Somerset, just seen on twitter that Lanham has been released/left this afternoon! To lose at home to Plymouth in front of a few hundred fans and holiday makers is bad enough, but to have your trousers taken down and bottom spanked in front of thousands of Sky viewers.... Thought Worrell was the bigger let down, unless his away form has kept him in team?
