Somerset V Edinburgh 11.8.15

Recommended Posts

Just thinking the same earlier. Unbelieveable. Should be a very good meeting on Sky, just hope the Somerset riders ask Ez to prepare the track how they want it.. Not to much water, on that stuff the water does tend to stand. Must win for Somerset..

Not enough water and dusty reports last 2 weeks? Predict last heat decider.

Would love to win just to see Kelvins reaction as for some reason he hates us.

Probably still remembers riding in ht 15 for Arena @ the Dale when he was leading going into the last bend when Carr & Schott ruthlessly swallowed him up and left him bouncing off the fence in third place :angry:

Should be a close scoreline.....

The Dukes of Edinbrugh to win the League or possibly Glasgow all depends when Masters and Kauko can return from their injuries.

Cant believe I'm wanting the Monarchs to win , but the reality is that if they win down there then it all but guarantees both Scottish clubs will finish in the top 2 .
However a Somerset victory sets up a very interesting Rebels northern tour starting on the 21st

:oops::cry::nono:

I predicted defeats at both Rye and Peterborough for the Monarchs and was firmly and happily proven wrong. However, tonight is a different kettle of fish altogether...

Cookie, Sedge and the Kaiser will hold their own and keep the score respectable, but whereas our tail escaped at Peterborough due to their indifferent reserves, I fully expect Starke to clean up at Somerset from reserve and Greenwood to pick up a few points to swing the tie comfortably in Somerset's favour. This meeting will be won mainly at reserve.

As long as we're not disgraced, a point would be a superb result, any more would have us believing Somerset are dropping their averages lol!

I'd go though for somewhere around 53-40 unfortunately...
