TheScotsman
He hurt his shoulder and knee at Rye House on Saturday. That's the shoulder injury that caused him to miss a few weeks recently. I think the knee injury may be an aggravation of a previous injury - he had an op on it during the winter.

It didn't seem to cause him too much trouble last night. Â If Cook is exhausted then Worrall, Josh & Kurtz must be knackered as not only riding for their own teams but lots of guesting. Â Good luck to both teams. Hopefully it will be a good close meeting Edited August 11, 2015 by mdmc82
CaptainAudi
As one of those who was astonished with our win on Sunday, I think tonight will be a step too far without smiler. Â 52-41 to Somerset IMO. Cookie making a TR work at some point during the course of the meeting. True I'm afraid , he will need his cartlidge repaired again and his shoulders not 100 percent and he ran over his own foot on Sunday just to make it a threesome but no excuses from him , he's going to battle through it and doesn't have a day off until next Tuesday , like he says I'm over here to race and he's a tough bugger. Najjer
Not tonight I doubt. Â The loss of Smiler will be a step too far. Â And Cookie must be knackered. Â And Rob has aggravated his injuries. Â Heaven forbid if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction too!
TheScotsman
Is Sam Masters fit and back? Â Out for another 2 weeks or so. Â Heaven forbid if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction too! lucifer sam
Should be a great meeting. Can see Edinburgh just snatching it, although Somerset might upset the form book and beat the Monarchs. Â All the best Rob
Aroundtheboards
Hopefully we have a good meeting, I have admiration for Edie Club and I am sure it will be close. I hope Brady can keep a lid on his win at all costs tendencies and keeps a square head on his shoulders and not just launch himself without telling himself where he is going. Should be a good un and may the best team win ! Rebels that is !!! Be safe everyone.
TheScotsman
Somerset to hit 60 tonight. Â That's quite slow isn't it? Â Thought the track record was 56.something? Â Or do you mean mph?
MD
Not tonight I doubt.  The loss of Smiler will be a step too far.  And Cookie must be knackered.  And Rob has aggravated his injuries. Another classic Monarchs write down TheScotsman, just in case! The other side is that the German dud has recovered the 2 points on his starting average, Sedgmen is riding like a heat leader at No2 and Riss is capable of pulling in important points at almost any track. With selective writing like that you must be ripe for an invitation to do match reports for the Monarchs website! Nothing less than an 0131 victory will do to make Somerset's northern tour that bit more interesting. TheScotsman
You're too kind! Â Trouble with Erik is it takes him 3 rides sometimes 4 to weigh up a new track!! Â And Super Agent Kev is doing nicely now thank you. He has the occasional race where he relapses into Glasgow form but they are pretty rare. Â And yes Sedgy is also doing very nicely too! Â And you didn't mention Cookie!! Â (Or r/r, Rob or Cleggy!)

I think baba meant 60 points at the risk you were being humorous !!! Track Record Leigh Adams 23/3/07 56.08. Fastest time 2015 Brady Kurtz 7/8/15 56.44. baba
Somerset to hit 60..only because cookies tired, wolberts a numpty and riss needs 5 races to get to know a track. Branford rode well last night so must be feeling ok. Cookie does need his beauty sleep though I'd agree with you on that.
