Baldyman
It's a shame ipswich didn't arrange the home leg for a night cook was riding for belle vue
MANSE
That would not be allowed by Mr Harkess
TheScotsman
Belle Vue Monarchs as they are known would always then rearrange to fit in with the real Monarchs.
Mr Blobby
Lawson 14 + 2 from 6 on his last visit and I believe beat Cook at least once. Nielsen 6 + 2 from 7. On paper, probably reasonable guests. However, apart from Worrall we don't have a great record with guests this season. Lawson won't score that again at the Dale thats for sure. TheScotsman
It was a gater's paradise that night - and we didn't. I hate to say I had my first visit back to Armadale in a long time that night. The disappointment remains large.

Fenway Bleachers
Lawson boasts an average of around 5 at the Dale.......good choice for Danny Olympic?

TheScotsman
Thought you were good at bets George? You'll probably get 20/1 for that. Worth a tenner or your money. Are there TR's in the league cup? (apart from Cookie being super quick obviously.) Sorry I meant 200/1.

JamesB
Would just prefer to see a meeting between two teams with their own riders. If we were to lose on that basis then so be it.
cyclone
Looking like its got rain off written all over it !! With the caveat that meteorological forecasting is not foolproof, the link below for Friday does not look unreasonable, given that Doc Bridgett & his crew are probably the best guys in the Universe at resuscitating previously wet tracks into superb racing strips http://www.yr.no/place/United_Kingdom/Scotland/Armadale~2657067/
JamesB
That's pretty different to the BBC weather site which predicts heavy rain from midnight until mid afternoon. Time will tell which prediction is most accurate.
Baldyman
Wet or dry ipswich are gonna need some lubricant, cos they are gonna get bent over and it's gonna hurt.
London Witch
You doing a raindance or just a simple prayer? Both. I'm sure all fans would prefer to see Cook and Masters race against King and Covatti. The public are being cheated.
TheScotsman
Not sure a full team has raced against us at Armadale this season so we're pretty much used to it. And Sam has been missing from a big number of away matches because of his injury so their supporters haven't seen our full team either.
