Hopefully a new signing R/R hasn't always worked for us in the past. Problem is which riders are available.

Agree, but like you say riders don't seem interested .Money is probably the main stumbling block IMO .Also their season is already mapped out and availability might be an issue. Edited by Fromafar

Liam Carr has tonight scored 11+1 from six rides riding at Kent for his NL team Coventry, unfortunately he couldn't stop his team going down by 54-36.

He's in great form, excellent seeing how much he has developed this season, seems to have found a real aggression on track :approve:

Brilliant positioning of Bandits' banner throughout last night's GP. Appeared before almost every race, often for 20 seconds or more.

To buy such worldwide television time and product exposure would cost something like £100,000. Well done the Berwick fans who took it and placed it so well.

Who can forget the late "great" Adi Funk?

I'm sure we dabbled with Adi Funk at Leicester in the really poor years at Blackbird Rd, late 1970's before Martin Rogers took over the Lions Den... I'm also sure he won at least one reserves race, same era Greg Sczepainik, Ernst Bogh, Ila and Pepe Teromma.....!! Obviously, Ila went on to grander things....

So with Kevin Doolan moving to No1 in the new averages we are forced into running R/R for the injured Seb Alden, I am sure the club have done everything possible to bring in a new rider but so far have been unsuccessful, but IMO going will R/R weakens us, so hopefully all the hard work the club is doing behind the scenes will see a new rider coming in soon.

Guest will be required for Daniel Gappmaier on Friday and Saturday as he is away racing in the SGP Qualifiers.

Going by my mathematics which was never my strongest point we now have 6-25 to play with for that elusive 7th rider. Hopefully with no more meetings until July 14th we will have someone in place with 2 tough away meetings on the agenda.

Your sums are OK Norm, however according to Dickon Sat we can get a replacement for injury on Sebs current average of 7.18. Don't know the rules on this, stopped downloading them, neededa ream of paper, only forthem to be changed constantly.
