I think they will go with guests in the short term but are looking at signing a new rider, one was mentioned last week but there seemed to be more questions than answers.

Are you signing Johnny Nash

Edit

I'll get me race jacket

DEBATE.

Berwick away matches

Redcar, close meeting Berwick riders gating well

Edinburgh, beat them Berwick riders gating well

Newcastle & Sheffield away, they beat us but comments said Berwick riders were quick out of the trap

Glasgow, nearly had them quick out of the gate

Scunny beat them , quick out of the gate

Rye House drew, quick out of the gate.

A Home.

Most meetings poor out of the gate.

Question

What are these away tracks giving our riders with track preperation, that our track prep is not. ?

Its a difficult one to fathom out.For what it is worth my opinion is at Berwick it is a fairly narrow entrance to the first corners from the start of a race with all 4 riders and unless you get a flyer ( which usually brought back)you sometimes can't keep the throttle on if others riders are along side you like you can do at a lot of others tracks where the bend opens out more on the entrance which makes a good gate an advantage ..There are a lot of 1st bend incidents at Berwick.Imo.So I reckon it is the track shape. Could it not be good old white line fever.

The strange thing is that of you look at results over the years....our worst away performances have generally been at Armadale and Rye House. Yet we manage a win and a draw there in a season where for one reason or another we can't seem to get all the guys firing on the same night at home.

I would agree with you in so far as over taking is concerned, but the shape of the track shouldn't stop any of our riders from making good starts on a regular bases. Time and again this season they are beating into the first corner, maybe its the way we are preparing the starts and not giving our riders what they are looking for.

Interesting, but the track was the same shape now as it was in the Waite days, this problem in general did not exist then to the degree that it does now. You would get a rider like Pepe who would trap from gate 4 and go against the fence cutting back on bend 2, you probably could not do that now, hence more riders sticking to the inside line on bend 1 causing more incidents.

So what did we get right for the FIM under 21s, that we are not doing on a regular basis for our riders, and what has to be done to help our riders to the success that they are obviously capable of.

Liam's average changes on Friday leaving us 7-40 to play with instead od 8-51

There’s a pretty obvious reason why Berwick have beaten sides like Scunthorpe and Redcar and drew with Rye House but haven’t beaten Sheffield and Newcastle.

Ah I get it now

because Scunthorpe and Redcar are SH!TE!!! :)

I tend to agree regarding the outside of the bends in the early heats they appear to be a "no go" area they look very heavy.

Oh dear, we can all but hope that we get someone signed in time

Sure the club are doing all they can to address the No1 situation, but losing over a point come Friday on team averages will hopefully concentrate minds get things pushed through.
