allthegearbutnaeidea
very good, one note though, in the newsletter it mentions the first meeting being the 26th of March against Redcar which I thought it was but it also says that the 26th of March is the date of the press and practise and the meet the riders night? Can someone confirm which night is which?
crescent girl
Yes, first meeting at home is March 26th. Press & practice is the Saturday before -- March 19th. Â Apologies for any inconvenience, thank you for raising the question.
Bandits4eva
Our promotion, with the aid of the consortium, are definitely turning it round. Excellent to see a bus being offered for opening away meeting.. A meeting I firmly believe we can win!

Not that long ago we were worried if we were going to have speedway at all. Hoping to get down to Rye again this year, hopefully for another win!

screm
Those Berwick fans who haven't yet, or are thinking of taken up the clubs invitation to go on the free bus to Redcar need to be quick. Seats are fast running out with now less than a dozen left.

screm
A shop keeper and a bloke who owns some property Out of interest, is the VIP club still going? You may well be right but this particular shop owner and property owner, along with the other members of the new consortium have stepped forward and helped save Berwick Speedway. It seems they have come forward with one or two new ideas to, for example the club have had someone go out and knock on doors to look for sponsorship, for what I hear that has paid off with sponsorship coming into the club. Also it seems the Speedway club is going to be working closer with the football club, that can only be a good thing for both parties. Â To answer your second part, no, I don't think there will be a VIP Club this year.
