DSC67
Everyone seems to be certain that Carr is nailed on , I suspect there might be more clubs than Berwick looking to sign him , question is how much are Berwick prepared to pay to secure his services ? Personally I'd rather see them pay him a wee bit more than sign a duff overseas rider

sparkafag
If it isn't Carr then Tom Perry would be good, Perry will be one of the better fast trackers.

sparkafag
Â I would explain why but not now. Because you tend to talk in hyperbolic BS and the idea of posting something that's actually the case is a challenge? Fromafar
Why?Unfortunately Luke is not a Berwick asset, but IMO is making good progress in the sport and think he has a tidy style, one for the future as they say.

Black Angus
Matty has signed for Workington  Well to me that's a pity, but if Taffy says it, obviously he must know.  I'd have welcomed Matty back in a heartbeat, he was a great Bandit, ever so solid.  But if Taffy's telling us he'll be at Workington instead, then so be it. We'd better move on.

Luke's a nice lad, but nowhere near ready for the PL. NL average of 3.52. Perhaps in 2017
screm
I rather have Luke Ruddick as out 3pt man  Wouldn't that be to much of a jump though, Ruddick was in the reserve position at Mildenhall last season and only moved up into the team when they signed Stefan Farnaby, so to go from a reserve in the NL to reserve in the PL would be asking to much of him. Much better IMO to have another year in the NL, win some races, build on confidence and experience, and if the BSPA haven't binned this No7 draft idea for 2017 Berwick could have another look then.  Carr, as an asset, would be a much better option, though as has been mentioned Liam is coming in for some interest from other clubs.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Can anyone who is reliable confirm if this is the case or not, thanks.I raised this question aout Perry a week ago on another thtead. I said I thought he may be inelligible as he has previously achieved an average above 3 in the PL.  There was no definitive answer provided but IMO Blobby may well be right this time.... The step up might help him as he will still be racing other NL guys in his heats.Worth a punt IMO .He will still be able to race NL.Carr will be sought after but at Pl level he has not improved that much in the last couple of years,a Bit unfortunate with injury though. Â Agree with you regarding Carr, though you can use the same argument for Carr as you are for Ruddick, namely he will be racing NL riders in his heats. I just think its to much of a jump for Ruddick, as even in his races he will be racing NL heat leaders and No1`s, something he isn't just yet.
