I think there is probably a couple of posters who are waiting to be told what their opinion is.
penchev
From former Associate Director Michael Mullan - Worrying We are grateful to Keith and his contacts for giving us the opportunity to put our side forward regarding our resignation from Berwick Bandits Speedway Club. A year ago, the public were told that the club faced a "Makeover or Takeover" situation. After several years of losses, we were told that was it - John Anderson needed help, or the club folded. Following the announced closure of Jus-Rol, we got together to help sustain one of Berwicks few remaining assets; The Bandits. With a couple of other backers, we genuinely believed that we could make a difference. A well balanced team was assembled, Season Tickets sales were promising, and we entered wholeheartedly into securing unprecedented financial support for the club. Crowds have increased, and Hospitality and Track Shop are busier than ever, we are told. However, as Business owners in the local area, we have earned reputations for integrity and honesty; a Handshake is a deal done, a nod, payment assured. We found ourselves latterly in the position where this integrity was compromised, and for the future of our businesses, and more importantly, our families, we can no longer be associated with Berwick Speedway in its' current form. The club. like the town, is unique; We have been overwhelmed by the degree of support for Berwick Bandits. So many help behind the scenes, often unseen and unappreciated. The support for the club in the wider community is phenomenal, although many choose not to support the current management team. We will always be Bandits fans, but we refuse to have our integrity compromised by association. THAT is why we resigned. We would happily consider helping the club under another management team. Catch Me If You Can
Saturday night the right time for a reply Whatever problems there are your club is more important than it appears the petty rivalries seemingly going on to win points. Then you find a reply comes in then a counter reply which does no one any favours.Important thing is your team moves forward whoever runs it. Is it not 50 seasons coming up?

New era Panthers
Finally someone has been brave enough to say it, the cowboy butchers have been hung, drawn and quartered, if I do say so myself. Couldn't stop that leaking out with track covers then.
Barnstormer
Next season but unless things change we wont see many more I don't think. Sadly you could be correct but what your club has achieved over half century in s poor catchment area no matter who has been in charge is top class so time to get behind who ever in control
topsoil
Whichever side of the story you wish to believe, it seems again the fans are the ones who will suffer because there will be another winter full of doubt. Next year should be one of great celebration for the club, the 50th season since opening.

Pinny
Probably would be best if Berwick dropped into the Nl, so much has been done there, quite often they track decent teams and the crowds still dont turn out. Maybe a season or two in the national league. In its presen state Berwick speedway cannot sustain premier league speedway.
Normski
Only thing about dropping into NL is losing fixtures against teams that generate our biggest crowds.Glasgow,Edinburgh,Newcastle,Workington.
Fromafar
Only thing about dropping into NL is losing fixtures against teams that generate our biggest crowds.Glasgow,Edinburgh,Newcastle,Workington.When you here some of the points money being paid in NL would be hard trying to make it pay with no local teams like you say.Still we don't know what is really going on behind the scenes so no need to panic.
allthegearbutnaeidea
No point going NL although I wouldn't mind it, the only nights we make money are Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Worky, Redcar and if there's a northern tour or a good team here, non of this would be the case Cradley apart with Buxton being our closest team.
