Liking your own post is a window on your sole, very telling.

What's his feet got to do with it?

Er, Polish?

(discovered my error about 'liking' from earlier, btw. Won't happen again. My apologies, obviously wasn't meant)

So only allowed in elite league ?

Peter karlson? Silly money?

Valentin Grobauer could certainly be worth sounding out, along with Kenny Wennerstam, Oliver Berntzon, Kenni Nissen and Michal Skurla................assuming they haven't already :/

Think most of these would struggle to do much better than a 5 point average. for example it is hard to see Skurla doing any better than Zdenek Holub.

My choice would be Joel Andersson - but I imagine he's already been approached by several teams (possibly including Berwick) and has good reasons why he doesn't want to ride here at the moment. no doubt the same applies to Anders Thomsen, but there might be a few other less established Danes worth trying (e.g. Patrick Hansen, Frederik Jakobsen, Jason Jorgensen, Jonas Jepersen)

I was very impressed when I saw Ilya Chalov, but let's face it that's just not going to happen.

Michal Skurla at a 5 point average yes, he is not a replacement for a 7 point rider however. Michal would be a very capable reserve however.

Berwick already tried to plug a gap with Bager, that didn't work out. Finding someone of equal calibre to replace Alden at this stage of the season is next to impossible unless you're gonna pay silly money.

Thats the bottom line,so it ain't going to happen.

Haven't checked his last PL or his converted EL average, but would Nick Morris fit, only does EL just now, no regular Polish meetings.

think Swindon have the max amount of D/U riders--hence nick isnt in the PL

Ha ha the rules in this sport are absolutely crazy! another rider punished through no fault of his own.

They need to take a good hard look at things!
