thebaron
Hi Scunny supporter here; I am up in the Borders next week and intend taking in the footballBerwick Rangers v Annan Athletic on 13/8 and then Bandidos v Pboro later. If you park in the car park can you leave your car there and rollover into the speedway or must you go out the car park and comeback in for the speedway ?. Minor detail but just wondered how it works if you do both. Reminds me of Halifax Speedway this; footie in the afternoon and back for the Dukes in the evening. Just leave it where you park it, no need to move it, free for speedway. Don,t know if Berwick Rangers are still doing the 50/50 draw as part of the parking, if so was only 50p

You could park in the Asda car park which is 5mins walk for the football then park at the stadium for the speedway for free.
allthegearbutnaeidea
Could leave it there the whole time and then pop in to Robert Smiths on the way to collect the car as it is on the way after all
samsplint
You can park all day at shielfield you will get a 50/50 draw ticket for a £1 at the football and if you want something to eat order a fish supper from the van at the football and you can get it when you leave ( the best in town), and then head down to the Black and Gold for a pint

Shadders
Three associate directors have resigned. Not sure what this means for the club in general
topsoil
Probably means another winter of uncertainty for the fans, will the club be here next year? the same sort of winter we had last year. Would be interesting to know why they have resigned, there are plenty of stories doing the rounds. Whether we will hear the full story who knows. The club had made several strides forward this year, in terms of raising it's profile, the track covers etc. but this is a massive hit. Tardis
I think one of the main problems was/is that no matter what they said if John and Ryan don't like it they will vote it down as they have the share majority

topsoil
It's a pity, because the new members of the board / management have brought a lot of new ideas. But now it seems it will be back to the same old same old.
allthegearbutnaeidea
Anderson's... Sad to see Mullen, Amers and Hush go, next season will go downhill and that will be that due to John not selling up when offered
screm
Bad news for the club to see the new consortium resign, hopefully they wont walk away entirely as that could be just about it for Berwick Speedway. They must have their reasons, lots of rumours, but without them or people like them there`s no way the current owners could continue running speedway in Berwick. I posted the other day that Berwick Speedway needed a shake up and a new direction, hopefully that will happen sooner than later. I take it the news wasn't mentioned in the latest news letter. More concerned that Crescent Girl has yet to comment. Maybe a new beginning or a second coming you heard it here first. Surely the less they post the better. Normski
Everything was looking rosy in June, good couple of away results looking good for a possible playoff place GUEST facility for the unfortunate Seb which was working well. Fast forward to today out of the playoffs, KO Cup only chance to win some silverware then the news that the consortium have resigned. Looks like another worrying winter for the Bandits faithful.
