I asked for DEBATE.

Why are our riders gating well away.

Why are they not gating well at home.

What is the difference

DEBATE

I don't know about away meetings, I've not made any this year yet.

Equally you could ask why the other teams are managing to gate away from home too.

To pop something into the mix here: could it be that there is more pressure to win at home meetings, thus creating anxiety at the gate?

Is it because track prep does not build into it a home advantage, this certainly applied in the Waite days, home riders were OK with what was given, visiting riders hated the place, some loved it like Stoney, Wilson Thorpy etc.

Could it possibly be down to the standard of the riders, yes in the premier league we have very good riders but in that U-21 meeting you had 3 future world under 21champions, 2 now full time GP riders and one in Dudek who probably would be if it wasn't for his ban ?

Maybe due to the standard of them they were able to make more lines from the track and make a couple of extra lines work going into the corners, just a thought here

Hats off for him being honest but perhaps that is something that should have been considered before accepting a team place.........

Probably he didn't realise at his age how good he was at Longtrack, and last weekend he realised. Good luck to him, shame we have lost him, a good talent.

May be, but it is not what the riders are saying.

Big blow losing Hummell, you can be sure there will be a number of clubs looking at him for the future as and when he decides to come back to race in our PL.

I noticed Alex Edberg was looking for more meetings, as an asset would the club think about bringing him back as a replacement reserve.

No but he has found racing over here in our PL plus his long track commitments are going to be to much for him. Shames as he showed some real promise in his short time over here.
