Berwick 2016

Got excited by newsletter headline saying we had a new no1 only to find out its Seb.wonder if that will make any difference ?

Only time will tell . personally I'd like to see a strong rider in the No 4 race jacket

You'll surely get your wish. With the new averages, Scott has a fair 1-5 to choose from --- whichever he puts in the #4 jacket will be pretty solid, I'd guess.

It the same set of riders so what is the difference who he puts where? .Imo if Wethers is not reserve we could struggle in the reserve department if Liam's injury keeps him out any length of time as he ( Wethers)is meant to be a key man in the reserve berth this season. We were not expecting him to be challenged for that position surely.!! Might the last many posts not get more interest on a Comics' thread?

Meanwhile, back on the right-hand coast there's an e-Newsletter out, with details of a revised Bandits' line-up and of progress at Duns.

Just read the News letter WOW Bager at reserve , can see Berwick becoming the whipping Boys of the league..

It is to be hoped that Alden finds the necessary consistency to hold the No1 race jacket, good one week poor the next wont help the team. Berwick look weaker with Bager as reserve, Berwick may need to look at that should Mellgren be unable to come back into the team anytime soon, especially we are to have any ambition of making a play off spot.

I believe Romano Hummel is coming over for closed practice meeting, we can live in hope thyat someone apart from his mentor sees the potential.

No one from the club has made a statement about Sat. info comes from several riders. Romano Hummel is a 17yr old Dutch rider, been doing OK on continent. Theo Pjiper is bringing him over, for club to see him ride.

Funny that isn't it...when a Club spokesperson doesn't inform the fans of what's going on, it's not as if it's secretive, everyone in Tweedmouth will be able to hear it but it would be nice for the Club to include it in the, may I add, wonderful newsletters that a practise was taking place to try and sort our home defeats out, in a way, you's have shot yourself in the foot by not doing so as people would be impressed that they are all comitted to travel to the track and make the team effort needed.
