topsoil
First things first, so glad Berwick are back in 2016 and now I've seen the line up, I'm happy with that. On a personal note, I would like to have seen Claus Vissing back, but there was always that fitness doubt. The 2016 line up shows potential for improvement, Mellgren, Wethers and Carr especially. Doolan and TJ deserved to be back after their 2015 performances carrying the team. Impressed with the signing of Pijper, as he always seems to score well at Shielfield. Alden is the big unknown. Will he be rusty? Will he pick up where he left off? Only time will tell. Had a great season in 2014 when we went for strength in depth, with the number 6 position being the key. Went for more top end strength last season and it didn't pay off. Will the return to a strength in depth team bring back the good times? Can't wait to find out! Bring on March!
Fromafar
Alden and Mellgren are the key men IMO .Alden could be a genuine No 1 in the right frame of mind, and Mellgren has potential to put points on his average, have to wait to see make up of other Teams to see where we stand.
spin king
Very solid looking team that looks as though it could be hard to beat, especially at home. Â The only concern that I would have is Alden after more or less spending a full season away from the sport.

Robinh88
realistically looking at mid table improvement coming from 2 and one of the reserves, the rest should maintain averages give or take half a point  A lot more solid than last year

bigeddiechek
Good to see positive feedback on social media too. Â This team along with Scott Courtney as Team Manager has a pretty good feel about it. Â

The only concern that I would have is Alden after more or less spending a full season away from the sport. The main problem is we see to have very little Home advantage over the years. This 3 pt reserve races might help tho season though.Bellego for Pjiper would have suited me better but that was never going to happen

This team along with Scott Courtney as Team Manager has a pretty good feel about it.  The appointment of a proper team manager makes a lot of sense. Fans should be positive, given that only a month ago the club's future was in jeopardy. Now that is secure, a decent looking line up is in place, the thought of next season is a hell of a lot brighter.
bandigo
Looking forward to see this team hauling in the points. Wethers is a steal on that average as far as I am concerned and hopefully Carr will come on some now that his injury is behind him. Fingers crossed Seb gets that record back in favour of the home team. Â Glad that there has been a bit assistance to the promotion as well. Fingers crossed for a good few seasons ahead!! I hope the attendance numbers grow this season.
Arson fire
Its a bang average team, but the usual zanusi merchants will tell you otherwise...

topsoil
Its a bang average team, but the usual zanusi merchants will tell you otherwise... if it is "bang average" then I must be happy with "bang average" because I can see scope for improvement in at least three of the riders, given that injury has affected previous averages (Melggren) and their obvious liking for the track (Pijper and Wethers).

sparkafag
The side does look bang average, but so did the team that finished 4th as did the one that was second a few seasons back.
