Hmmm...where are all those people who spent the end of last season slating Palovaara and saying he wasn't good enough hiding these days???

Think we better give the Scandanavian market a miss in future . When we roll up in either Copenhagen or Stockholm and cry " bring out your dead " , out pops a Palovaara , or a Peter Juul , or an Anders Andersen or a Robin Tornqvist .......... .

Deary me , that's a year on , the lad has improved a lot . And I have admitted previously , though you never delved back for that post , that Victor was thrown in at the deep end and was out his depth at the time .

People who form an opinion on whatever, base there opinion on what they see at any particular time now that opinion usually differs wether it be 6 months, 1 year or however long it is.

Anyone who saw Victor last year would in all likelihood form the same opinion as Paul or Myself and several others did , However as we know he is riding far better latterly which means opinions change not rocket science.

And there are far too many people on point scoring missions on here, who in there right mind is going to troll through post's from a year ago just to post a quote that someone based an opinion on what he saw at that time.

Cyclone obviously .

I think you'll find some of us -quite a few of us actually- were trying to point out last season that he was a decent raw talent and should be judged as a long term prospect we were taking the initial average hit for but we were constantly shot down by the short sighted 'he's not a number one' brigade.

He is now proving to them exactly why short term pain long term gain can be a worthwhile strategy but the majority of those who slated him are remarkably quiet about it now.....

It was obvious he was never going to be another of omalley/pen fold etc but he was repeatedly tagged that way. Just as well he had belief in his own ability and didn't lose confidence ;)

This realy was a thrashing. a puncture for Victor when miles in front in heat 2 otherwise he would have had a well deserved maximum. an Ef for our guest Josh who scored paid 9 from his other 3 rides and Aaron having bike problems in the last heat which also helped block Richard who was lining up to pass the impressive Anderson. so basically we were unlucky on the day  sadly Redcar have had no luck recently with all there injuries but you can only beat whats in front of you and it was a big pay day for the home team.

seemed to be a good crowd again with 100s of kids enjoying free entry and there race against Roary :D The riders are playing there part posing for photos and giving autographs and celebrating the win with wheelies and kozza style 'dancing'. only downside to these big crowds is you have to get in about an hour before the start to get a seat in the stand :o

That'll be the all new perma stand.

In preference to the temporary naughty step where you pay £1 for the privilege of watching riders helmets go past along with two other people every Friday. ;)

The "naughty" step is now free george....though i think a fiver from you to the fans trust would be acceptable next time you wish to go there........KOC semi perhaps???

Done!

But I don't know if it'll fit in my garage. ;)

You don`t have to take our sticklebrick and meccano set George!!! You can buy your own at Lidl....

however it will give you a good view when the Monarchs come round on the victory tractor, and also of cookie`s posterior leaving the traps, you know the one that dickie lawson and spud have been watching for years ........

Well regardless of who was right and who was wrong , as Tigers fans we're delighted at Victor's progress this season

Victor has surprised a few and hopefully kicks on. The lad has bucketful of potential. Bringing stuff up from last year loiness, well you must be bored and opinions based on what someone saw at that time can change can't they?

Perhaps Lioness was saying it isn't a good idea to judge people too hastily.

A trap I seem to fall in to on a regular basis.

As most humans are TWK. It's just you're more honest about yourself than most. :) Edited by george.m

Leave my loins out of it! And perhaps a visit to specsavers will help you see more clearly that it was CYCLONE who quoted things from last year but nice try :D
