Golden Hammer Wed 12th August @ Perry Barr

Recommended Posts

U thought the laurals was a stronger line up with Bacon, Widman, Powell, dugard and thats only having 12 riders in the meeting, the top riders are also betterin the hammer aswell. Ellis, morris, bates, zach, perry, morley, clegg both greenwoods and Wilson Dean, not seen an Nl individual stronger than that

Think my post has been miss read I never said the laurels had a stronger Line Up then the golden hammer, what I said was or meant at least is the laurels was stronger without our bottom three riding. Nothing more nothing less.

Thank you teaboy, as you now seem to understand the strength/importance of the 'Ommer to the Black Country.

Will you be up at Perry Barr to enjoy the spectacle as it is a very long drive but should be worth the journey?

By the way, I am from the Black Country but am an adopted Man Of Kent/Kentish Man/worked for KCC/Canterbury & Crayford Speedway regular visitor way back and my wife will have a problem on Wednesday as she is from Gillingham, Kent (Invicta, the white horse, Rules)!

As sure as can be, she will be 'Ommering for Cradley in her Kentish way as she has done since 1975!

Hope the best rider wins on the night with more than 12 (13 is a better best but who knows with the mystical 'Ommer?).

I doubt there will be practise today from the amount of rain we have had over the past few hours. Brad probably just wants to not do more than he has to for a bit
