JamesB
This is an important one for both teams but the Witches play off hopes probably hinge on getting something out of the meeting. I think in King and Summers we may have a stronger top order, but it's probably all going to depend on how Gino, Cameron and the reserves perform particularly as we have r/r in place. Everybody is going to need to be on top form with no passengers.
ellioth4
Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message including your mobile number. Thanks
Baldyman
Have a feeling we might not get anything tonight. Maybe Danny having a rare off night, it's got to happen sometime.

Super Blue
I get the impression that the current Plymouth team is a tad different from the one the Witches turned over in the league cup match. Think I'll be happy if we can get something out of this one given the absence of a couple of key team members.
Roland
Given that we are missing two thirds of our heatleader trio, perhaps a downpour, the subsequent rain off and no time to re-arrange before the deadline might be playing our 'get-out-of-jail-free' card with no damage done? MrMungo
Going to be a tough night for Ipswich with several riders having been caught in traffic

JamesB
Oh dear, that was worse then Baldymans worst fears. Well done to Plymouth who now look as if they are well in control of the race for sixth. One heat win outside of King was never going to be good enough. I have no idea if the late arrival of Heeps and Manzares impacted on their performances but even if it didn't it is unacceptable for two professional sportsmen to rock up late for such an important meeting. If you are travelling down to the West Country for a Friday evening then you leave plenty of time to get there. Hopefully, Gino is OK.
Baldyman
Can't blame it on tonight's defeat. Our home form has been the problem. For title favourites we probably won't even make the play offs.

Bit harsh on your team Baldyman, you have to remember you've got the pts on the board, Comets/Plymouth may have matches in hand but neither are much cop away from home and those matches still have to be won for either to make progress? If your home form stands up I reckon your still favourites to secure at least the bottom pitch and you can take it from there?

ancient mariner
One swallow does not make a summer. You are correct. But I'll tell you what ... For the first time since I forget when, things are looking a little bit better for the Devils. It certainly seems like a summer.
Halifaxtiger
One swallow does not make a summer. That's true. But what that astonishing result showed was just how good Plymouth can be.

They have Rye House, Scunthorpe, Newcastle and Berwick at home, Rye House, Redcar and Scunthorpe away, not the strongest of opposition overall. In the meantime, Ipswich have just four meetings left, home to Berwick (who they struggled to beat in the home leg of the KO Cup) and Peterborough, then away to Rye House and Somerset. Definitely 60/40 in favour of Plymouth under that turn of events, certainly the "easier looking" run in of the two but I still think you cant beat having the points on the board, Plymouth still have to win two of those matches just to catch up and that's not entirely guaranteed but yes, momentum and opportunity is their's at this time but I wouldn't count Ipswich out of it just yet your team is still capable of wins against that opposition?
