HadrianDog
Ok, I never thought you meant a dig at the promotion or the 2015 team. I know when we set up in 1997, there was times we won good meetings, and still got complaints like "when are we going to get rid of that No 3 Dave". I lost it one night when a fan started moaning after we had just won something like 55 - 35. I threw my promoters jacket at him with words like 'see if you can do f***ing better'. That's not the infamous pink one though I hope?

Has George still not given you that back!!! People will always want you to do better and if you win by 55 - 35 they will want 60 - 30 the next time and so on and so on. I personally don't care, prefer the win but as long as the racing is good that will do me. Obviously I don't want to go and watch a team get hammered ever week. The race between Wells and Worrall reminded me and probably most on the people on the terrace about what speedway is all about, but sadly those races now a days are few and far between. People have mentioned the Owen brothers and I was only young at the time but I used to love to go and watch them week in week out, along with Beaton, Emerson and Hunter (and of course Robbie Foy!!!!) and often could not wait for the next home match. I think the same can be said for when Larsen and Bach rode for use (speaking of Larsen, did any of the Diamonds fans catch his performance in Sweden on Tuesday night, outstanding!!!!). How I miss those days
Tsunami
That's not the infamous pink one though I hope? No chance. It was the blue jacket we had to wear by the BSPA, and George had to wear a red jacket. The 'pink' ones still going strong, I have three of them actually. Tsunami
and your happy to admit that ???,,, and I thought you only had 1 coat Nah, three it is. Two mediums and one large for putting over another coat when it's a bit cold or working on the track. Bit of an anorak, well it is.
