JmeRay
MPT hasn't been that good this season, not sure why he's seen as the answer. That said he'd do better than Karger! I'd go for two changes personally, Karger and another out, Branford and a rider to score some points at the top end in. I think it's because he rides our track quite well. He hasn't had a great start to the season but would be picking up points that Karger isn't & so it would be an improvement. As Branford is in the Raiders he would seem an obvious replacement but he has never really kicked on at PL level either. I agree that we probably could do with more than one change but I'm not sure who is available.
Paul Johnson
Not sure if you can replace Karger, being an assesed rider new to the league this year you have to stick with him, unless he quits or has a long term injury,
Baldyman
I'm really surprised he hasn't quit. He can't be earning any money and after last night he must surely know he isn't up to it.
hammer1969
Could it be that he really may want to follow in his dad's footsteps but as you say he really isn't up to it, surely now it's time someone sat him down and had a good chat re his Speedway ambitions ie his dad, or could it be that is where he is getting encouragement from to keep trying even though surely it is now obvious to all concerned he has made no progress at all since arriving at Rye House
Bash
It's bad enough having a 3 point rider not scoring any points, but to have a 5 point rider doing the same is far worse, you're basically a 37.50 team. I think Karger would struggle in the national league. He was probably signed because of who his father is, did anyone look at his results elsewhere before he was signed.. GWC
He clearly needs some intensive training to get up to good NL standard. Danny Ayres scores 5 plus 1 at Sheffield of all places and shows that given encouragement there are riders in our leagues that can do a good job. tocha
Not sure if you can replace Karger, being an assesed rider new to the league this year you have to stick with him, unless he quits or has a long term injury, It's true that a rider on an assessed average cannot be removed from a re-declaration but once he has completed 4 h 4a he qualifies for a true average. Although this is not allowed to drop below 5.00 it is no longer assessed so there is no reason why he cannot be removed from the line-up. In the case of Karger he will receive a true average seven days after Rye's trip to Sheffield next Thursday. There is no precedent yet, but Rye House are not the only club affected by this '5.00' ruling and no doubt it is something else that hasn't been thought through properly. I'm sure Rob Godfrey has the answer though! Edited May 13, 2016 by tocha
Baldyman
Kennett getting plenty of praise last night, but only managed 4 points tonight.
Shadders
Kennett getting plenty of praise last night, but only managed 4 points tonight. Retired in his 4th ride and last in his final ride. Bike troubles perhaps?
Ben91
Rene Bach and Rob Branford would fit in place of Lanham and Karger.

Well if the Witches are to progress tonight need Kennett on the same sort of form and Robson to . Can't see it really think the Witches will be out of the cup but I'll be there tonight along with Baldyman. What's the weather forecast at the moment down there and for later? Baldyman
But it's a speedway stadium, so it won't feel anywhere near as warm as that. Note to self, stay away from the fish Darren.

Safe option would be a pukka pie. Cornish pasties are decent
hackneyrocket
Does anyone know if Leigh Lanham will be fit for Monday's meeting?
Alan_Jones
Fit or not, he won't be riding as it's within the the 9 day suspension period for concussion.

Karger is out as well with wrist injury so guess it will be R/R and Rob Branford. And looks like Lykke moves to reserve for June. waco
Presume the new averages means Karger moves up in to the top 5 with Lykke dropping to res,. Helps the team ,, but hardly helps Karger,,if this is indeed the case can Karger survive
