Rye House 2016

Recommended Posts

Anyone know what the seating options are for this season?

Only the main stand and the 4 small pop-up stands on the back straight at the moment. The "temp stand" has been re-shelled with a permanent metal construction. The original terracing is still there but the seats have been removed and unlikely to be ready for the weekend. They were working frantically on the lighting and sound system in there today and also fitting and painting wood panelling. There is a space next to the stand where the toilet block used to be and there will probably be one of the two large pop-up stands in there for Saturday.

Yes thats better, all support the riders and get behind the bmr team putting lots of work in behind the scenes.

To be honest if we had mr silver still there and had a repeat of last two yrs, i would be looking for something else to do on a sat night

Things can only better

All the plans etc for stadium for the future sound very positive

If anyone is still not aware of who Guy Martin is watch ch4 on bank hol Monday next - he is attempting a new world speed record for riding on the wall of death - it is thought he is aiming for 80mph and it will be on a specially constructed extra large diameter wall as the standard size would make him too dizzy at that speed - this attempt is to be shown LIVE. Also heard last night as well as Guy being in the BMR sponsored flatrack team (bike already sorted) there is an even more famous road racing name who will be joining him (to be announced shortly - surely everyone has heard of him).
