Shale Searcher
Ignore the people that pay through the gate to keep the place going. Great advice. I'm glad you're not my accountant I was talking about the so called fans criticising over nothing, don't let the B*****s grind you down.. Shadders
I was talking about the so called fans criticising over nothing, don't let the B*****s grind you down.. Average side, promised stadium improvements not yet apparent, change of team colours after decades of yellow & blue, uncertainty over the future of speedway at Rye House after this year... That's nothing?
Alan_Jones
Average side, promised stadium improvements not yet apparent, change of team colours after decades of yellow & blue, uncertainty over the future of speedway at Rye House after this year... That's nothing? Â From Peter Schroeck in this week's Speedway Star; Â "We have re-shaped the track, there's a brand new safety fence, there's going to be brand new pits, a brand new grandstand, that's nearly done now. Everything is tarmaced, you can walk around without getting your shoes covered in mud and even the fence has been built to FIM standards so if anything comes along we can put our hand up. Warren's spending a lot of money and you will see a lot done for the first meeting but there's more to be done over time." Â Obviously a recipe for closing down at the end of the season...

Alan_Jones
I'm saving my money for the track shop on Saturday and some new gear  If they're on the ball, they'll have some there on Wednesday.  I'm glad we've now got a proper Wallace & Gromit style rocket logo rather than something you'd wan't posted in a plain wrapper. Not so keen on the Raiders one though, I'd like to know who modelled for that.

Ben91
Yeah but don't let all that get in the way of the rumours and speculation from people who know feck all. Â People knew barely anything official until this statement on the eve of the season, that's why they've been worried. Fair enough reason IMO.
Shadders
Yeah but don't let all that get in the way of the rumours and speculation from people who know feck all. If you don't keep supporters informed, of course rumours will start to spread. It's human nature. Look how Glasgow handled their stadium improvements and Belle Vue the new stadium on social media with regular news and updates.
tocha
If Rye are worrying about the loss of NKJ to Peterborough, he scored 3 from 5 rides at Ulrich's meeting at Peterborough today. To put this in perspective, Simon Lambert scored six.

I wouldn't take much notice of pre season form. I'm sure NBJ will do just fine Edited March 13, 2016 by Shads

Ben91
Good opportunity for him to get dialled in to his new home track, when the real stuff starts he'll be doing better than that.
TheScotsman
Great quote by Guy Martin the the paper this morning - "I don't give a sh*t about F1 racing. I've got no interest in it at all.". Â Have to love the man!!
ZODIAK
I used to love F1 back in the day when the likes of Senna, Prost and Mansell done battle. Â These days it's become a complete bore fest.
