Rye House 2016

Recommended Posts

Is there any way Rob Mear would be tempted back?

What would he come in on in the PL?

I doubt Warren Scott & Co have even heard of Rob Mear.

If a good relationship between one of this years riders and the promotion they have a chance of being back otherwise I think Rye House will line up very differently next season.

The new man has his own vision of what makes an entertaining team which could definitely spell the end for the seasoned old guard.

Didn't know Mellgren had signed for Berwick again for next year. Mear's average is somewhere in the fives or sixes after his pitiful spell with us a couple of years back, I wouldn't go to watch a team with him in it.

I'd take MPT over Kasper personally, very good round Rye and can get out of the gate.

I'd take both MPT & Kasper as second strings. Kasper showed signs of improving his average before injury & is entertaining.

Wouldn't want Barker, he's a nob. Don't think him and Kennett see eye to eye either.

Used to get some interesting "team riding" when they were paired together at Coventry in 2010! In fact Barker took out Kennett right at the end of the season and broke his ankle!

I'd pick Barker over Kennett every time though.

Well with Kennett likely to have more input into the team than before I guess Barker's out of the picture.

I don't, think he will be out of his depth.

I don't think he will be, improved each season he has raced so far, entertaining too. However as Len is no longer at Rye there's no reason he should let us use Ayres, who is a Kent asset I believe. Think we'll see Morley though I'd like Olly Greenwood back, the 2014 version that is.
