Shadders
and you really think that the Rockets promotion would be anywhere near the same sort of money that makes it worthwhile for Doyle? That's not the point. I'm merely pointing out that you can do both. The finances are another matter
Odds On
That's not the point. I'm merely pointing out that you can do both. The finances are another matter Im guessing you don't understand the mentality of a speedway rider then!....you only have to look at some of the riders and where they are staying and then look at the home team they ride for! They chase the money and why not.

Personally, I can't see it happening
screm
Lambert is nailed on to ride in Poland next season so that rules out a Saturday night track...... He`s not walking to Poland fixtures is he, riding at Rye House on a Saturday isn't the problem, trying to fit Rye`s fixtures at Newcastle, Glasgow etc around his Polish fixtures might be though obviously where there`s a clash his Rye fixture will take priority. Ben91
Anyone serious about riding in Poland, and I'm pretty sure Lambert wouldn't approach it half assed, would have bikes for both countries. Just gotta be on a plane himself and there's no issue.

Still can't see us fitting Edward, Nicolaj and Robert in the same side.
Gazza66
I hate to say it but I think ed will go after this season. Hope I am wrong though.

Ben91
Doubling up is limited to two seasons again now, perhaps Ed might want another crack at EL full time. That'd pave the way to bring Lambert in and Eddie could always come back for the 2017 season. Preferably I'd have both and NBJ though. The long tail would be worth it. Especially if we can find a decent three pointer. While it may not be ethical I'd like to think the promotion are talking to the riders they want to retain now the league campaign is over and telling them that the lower their averages are for next season the better. neb
100% for sure i dont think any team will see robert in the premier league next season i would put money on he will only ride elite league next year in the uk as well as riding in Sweden and Poland and maybe even Denmark with the odd meeting in Germany, another season in the prem would be too much and who knows he might be given a gp wild card anytime soon as it seems bomber's time is drawing to a close.

Ben91
He'd probably earn more riding PL and scoring a hatful every week than in Denmark. Plus aren't Danish meetings run on a Wednesday? Lambert can do another year in the PL and I'd be surprised if he doesn't. That wouldn't stop him chasing a GP spot through the qualifiers. Shadders
Some good points here, but if I was to have a bet is say Robert won't be a Rocket next year. Should've had him this year. We had the chance

We had the chance You never know. A year at Rye could see him piling on the points for a year & earning big money before leaving the PL for good. scoobydoo
If its true that Lambert was asking for a huge pay hike before being released by Peterborough, Rye will need plenty of cash to sign him for 2016
Guest
RYE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE::: :::::::::: NBJ Update Rye House team manager John Sampford is now able to update the situation on Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen, who was a late withdrawal from Sunday’s Premier League match between the Restart Rockets and Workington due to a suspected broken coccyx. Said Sampford: “Nikolaj immediately sought further medical advice from a specialist sports consultancy on his return to Denmark, and the positive news is that although his injury is currently extremely painful, it looks as though it is tissue damage only, with nothing actually broken. “With that in mind, Nikolaj is aiming to participate in a Danish League match tomorrow night (Wednesday), and then to review the situation again afterwards. “Either way, we are planning to operate Rider-Replacement on Saturday when we host Ipswich, because Nikolaj is due to be representing his country, if he is fit, in an U-21 World Cup Semi-Final round. “But the key thing at this stage is that his injury is not looking as bad as originally feared, and that, fingers crossed, we will now see him back with the Rockets sooner than later.”
