Recommended Posts

Well the newly formed Workington panthers race away at Edinburgh, fair to say we're screwed!

No ully or Simon due too injury, emil riding abroard and Robert Lambert banned well tbc

Team:

Robert Lambert

RR for Ully

Lewis

MPT

Kenneth Hansen

Rafal

Matthew Weathers

So nearly Half our team is from Workington, does this mean we have gained jenga as a fan?

As the great Rabbie Burns would have said....... A ban's a ban for a' that.

Wonder if Harkness will let that happen..ifso arguably we are stronger with Hansen, whether and r/r..don't think we'd have got anything up there anyway.

Who is Harkness?

Is it John Harkness - a character played by John Barrowman?

BARF.. don't expect more than 38 points away from home, cos that's all we can manage at the moment. ( apart from Thursdays away win at the watches ) sorry i strayed onto a post that has nothing to do with peter borrow.. ........................ chill out lukas, , ,f.p. and all the rest.

Also seems strange that panthers booked Wells as a guest and informed Edinburgh that he would be in the team for Friday, I smell Bullcrap here, anyway glad he is riding will be good to see him, oh wait he hasn't unloaded his van yet

Well it's egg on someone:

Panthers promoter Ged Rathbone has hailed the return of teenage prodigy Robert Lambert as a ‘massive boost’ ahead of two titanic Premier League tussles. Panthers travel to Scotland tomorrow (Friday) before welcoming the reigning champions to the East of England Showground on Sunday (5pm). Rathbone said: “It was obviously very disappointing for everyone not to have Robert available for the Fours. “Unfortunately he picked up an injury the previous night, but the treatment he received from our sports therapist Lauren Wood on Sunday, along with the further guidance given to him, appears to have done the trick. We are one of the only clubs in the country to be lucky enough to have a sports therapist to work with our riders and Lauren is a real asset to us.

“Robert tells us the treatment has really helped and it will be great to have him back in action against Edinburgh.

P'boro today

There is bound to be disappointment that we are not seeing the full Peterborough team on Friday, and particularly that Robert Lambert won’t be there (surely the news has reached Edinburgh & someone can update that?)
