stevebrum
Ironically an on form Freddie would probably have done done enough to carry Wolves to a narrow win. Form is such a fickle thing and with the Freddie of 2 or three years ago Wolves season could have been far different. How long can the incredible PK keep this up? He has already probably forgotten more than most riders will ever know but experience continues to triumph over youth. Like most matches these days fast track is the problem. 15 points for Belle Vues reserves, 4 for Wolves. In almost every EL match these days that is the sort of discrepancy we see at reserve, and it it's where so many matches are won and lost. This EDR system has to be sorted out for next year. It is not what the fast track was originally intended to do and not what the public pay to see. Good post, however as far as the EDR's this season I think Wolves did OK in the draft. Blackbird was the highest averaged EDR last season so on paper it was a great move. However in general he has been more than average. foreverblue
Another post, another sycophants mention. Predictable and boring. Meanwhile back in the real world 39 is a moral victory for the 2nd worst team this season. are we still saying Freddie is back to form? Well done the Aces, favourites for the play offs. I have given up replying to his boring rhetoric, he is too stupid to realise that the play offs are good for speedway and how exciting they are when your team is involved.
Aces51
With a wet track this was never going to be a racing classic but the racing improved after the top surface was bladed off. Zagar and Cook were supreme and Nielsen again showed how much he has improved with the help he is getting from his team mates and Mark Lemon. Wolves looked as if they might make a fight of it but the Aces gradually increased their lead and in the end it was the expected comfortable win. I really enjoyed watching a rejuvenated performance from PK.

They then got first pick in round 2 but shocked everyone with their pick. You could argue the point limit doesn't work because Coventrys team is 2 points short of the limit. But that's because the Bees management picked the wrong riders. Pick correctly and any system works.
mikec
Considering the fact that many visiting riders don't fancy the Belle Vue track on a dry night (let alone a wet one), I was impressed by Musielak last night, rode well. Would be amazed if he doesn't feature in the Wolves 2016 line-up. The other rider I want to mention is Stefan Nielsen. He has really progressed in the last couple of months. Last season he looked promising at times, at other times a fall waiting to happen! He looks much smoother & more composed now, & his scores are reflecting that. He's popular with the Aces fans, seems a polite kid with a good attitude, & I hope he is part of the set-up at the new stadium next season, for me he's earned that chance.
GregoryM
Like most heat leaders - probably looking after his average for next year. Like Batch was probably lowering his average to get Ward into the Robins team this year.
INCOGNITO
Musielak is going to be a bargain next season for Wolves and available for every match as long as he can get his arm injury mended properly. The rest depends on how much loyalty they give to club assets instead of new faces
Panthers89
Way Wolves are going at the moment, you will struggle to fill a team reaching the points total with Tai, Lindgren and Musielak on bargain averages.....

I'd be astonished if Tai rode in Britain next season. Whatever the merits or otherwise of riding in this country, his performances in Sweden, Poland and the world championship indicate clearly that not doing so is working very well indeed for him. Shame, but there it is.
stevebrum
Like Batch was probably lowering his average to get Ward into the Robins team this year. Less probable more definetly.
