Tsunami
He'll bottle the final. Probably a good bet for 4th! Agree. A top rider who doesn't do heat 15's.
sparkafag
If Lamberts in it he won't be far away. He probably has the best race day head of the lot of them. Morris is pretty rapid around Sheffield as well if he is fit enough to race.
Lord Lucan
50p EW on Ricky Wells, ex Sheffield man, goes pretty well round there and running into a rich vein of form at just the right time, nice outside bet!!

Gazc
Can Dickie the Gater do it 6 or if required 7 times on the night. It's a No from me And here was me thinking that all rider's are gaters only way to get off the start line after all some are just better at it than others.
spin king
And here was me thinking that all rider's are gaters only way to get off the start line after all some are just better at it than others. I have seen a helluva lot of Lawson at Sheffield over the last three seasons, (lots of Guest booking for Sheffield, and riding for Glasgow and Redcar). The one thing that is consistent about him every time is on certain gate positions you know what will happen he misses the gate and where ever is from the gate that is where he will finish, and usually that is stone cold last. Unlike the likes of Cook or Kurtz, who if they don't make the gate are more than capable of passing riders in front of them at Sheffield. Sorry your man Lawson may win a battle or two but he won't win the war.
Triple.H.
And here was me thinking that all rider's are gaters only way to get off the start line after all some are just better at it than others. No doubting he's a great gater and we all know with that advantage you should do well, but he can't out gate his peers all the time and even when he does they have a good chance of reeling him in as they have more racing ability. It's my opinion you may not like it but if you put RL vs BK or CK on any track in the world I know who my money would be on to win a best of 3 Golden Helmet type matchrace Edited August 9, 2015 by Triple.H. baba
We'll have to see at the plrc what happens brady kurtz is probably favourite but cookie will have a superb chance too. I wouldn't rite off richard though and he shouldn't be criticised for being a successful gater there is more to him than that. Hes clever in first two bends and I'd love for him to gate 6/7 times and win the trophy if its a gaters track then he must be favoutite. Its too hard to say nobody can overlook masters he's a joy to watch around sheffield.
sommelier
If Kurtz CAN hold himself together, think he has a good chance as any one!
Triple.H.
I reckon you could count on the fingers of one hand the times Sheffield has been a gaters track
spin king
The league meeting this season at Sheffield typifies Richard Lawson usual performance around Sheffield. 3, 3, 0, 1, 0.
pvm
The problem with Sheffield is, far to often, it's Red, Blue, White, Yellow ( when riders are of equal ability) until the track settles, which can take a few races, then just before the Semi's they do a big track grade and it returns to Red, Blue, White, Yellow again. Having the inside gate can be a big advantage.
