EnglishRoundabout
He scored 12pts in the qualifying heats, that saw he seeded through to the Final. He then won the Final. Dont worry you`ll get there, its a speedway thing. Priceless!
bigcatdiary
No Bowen or Maassen for the Rockets. Can see a Peterborough win Nothing on the Rye web site regarding this although I did read that Bowen got hurt at Berwick, why is Maassen missing. Bradford Ace
Dull as dishwater meeting - barely any passing all day & very disappointing all round. Definitely needs to start later - track always seems grippier & produces better racing under the floodlights & when it isn't quite as warm. Been about 10 times this year to Owlerton & that was the worst meeting I've seen!! Cook blew it by not taking red in the final - never give away gate 1 when u have 1st pick unless it's been an absolute graveyard all day. Felt sorry for a few who deserved better. Kennett & Masters for their bike problems & Kurtz for his fall even tho it was his own fault. Picked Wells as my outsider & he looked good all the way thru as did Andersson from Redcar - he was probs the biggest surprise all day. Shadders
Nothing on the Rye web site regarding this although I did read that Bowen got hurt at Berwick, why is Maassen missing. Also injured in a fall, but had another race after. Maybe the injury flared up overnight. Wouldn't worry too much. His 3 point average handicaps us kevin doolan wud have won it, had he bin allowed He could've even beat Kennett round his own track.

Cue Ball
He just lost a championship that I imagine he knows he could/should have won, what do you expect?
The H Man
Delighted for my old mate Big O. Lovely guy, always gives 100% and just gets on with it, doesn't whinge about track conditions.

Lord Lucan
Great result for Ricky, shame I didn't take my own advice and back him each way, been on fire this season and was well worth a punt?

That's okay if you live close, but it means a very late night / early morning for fans travelling any distance. If you want a night meeting better making it a Saturday.
Hel'n'Back
Disappointing meeting, many people there but not much atmosphere unfortunately. Cookie should have taken gate 1 in the final...
Gavan
ame="Pob" post="2677343" timestamp="1441572302"] I'd be seriously concerned if he did look happy. great rider but always been a sore loser
TheScotsman
I'm a sore loser. Nothing wrong with that. Just means we are competitive. We can be magnanimous in defeat but still be sore losers. Show me someone who's happy to lose and I'll show you a loser. Anyway - check out the picture - it looks like someone who knows he has blown a good opportunity. It shows no more than that.
screm
Nothing on the Rye web site regarding this although I did read that Bowen got hurt at Berwick, why is Maassen missing. Both rider crashed on virtually the same bit of track, Bowen left the track by ambulance as was withdrawn from the meeting, Maasen walked back to the pits after treatment and was able to continue in the meeting. Hope both riders are back very soon.
