Premier League Riders Championship - Sheffield 6th Sep

Recommended Posts

Spot on

How many Poole fans would be up in arms if Janowski rode in the Polish league top tier individual rather than a play off match for Poole? Some fans really dont understand how it all works!

This shows you dont understand how contracts work as Danny is contracted to race firstly for Coventry and Ipswich in league meetings. The PLRC is not a league fixture, he is under contract in Poland he HAS to ride or risk a fine.

He does. Never missed a league meeting this season due to Polish commitments. The PLRC is not a club meeting its an individual

Well said mate. Im sure a lot of fans dont understand he is contracted

Again it illustrates my point.

Thank You to all the real fans who understand why he isnt riding.

People bang on about the meeting is farcical now. Well back in the 90's no riders were riding in Poland earning good money so the comparison to harp back to the old days is irrelevent

If Mark Loram, Andrew Silver, Paul Thorp and Troy Butler had the opportunity to race in Poland back in the day they would have been good enough.

And if thr were contracted to a club they would not have ridden in the NLRC as it was then.

Times have changed. We bang on about Brits riding abroad to better themselves then moan when they have to miss a meeting. Cant have it both ways.

With regards to the meeting would love to see Kurtz win it and hope Rohan doesnt come last!

Rohan won't come last he'll prob get 1 race win once the grip drops and the track slikens off. Any grip on the track and he'll be buggered

Why does a one off individual meeting need a semi-final and a final.. absolutely ridiculous imo

To make sure that interest is maintained to the very end. That's the way of things these days. Many might agree that top points scorer and league winner etc is best but those days are gone.

im not particularly bothered bout king riding or not, more surprised a certain rider taking part who should be banned....if the bspa found him guilty (hence a 21 day ban), why no fuss about him when Auty missing out on a big day??

I know the 21 days are up (obviously), just highlighting a lenient punishment!

With all due respect Tungate has served his ban and there is no guarantee Auty would have been able to ride..............would you be saying the same if it was the other way round and Tungate was injured and Auty had served a ban for what happened???????????

Thought not...........

I find that VERY hard to believe.

He's been quiet with the anti Ipswich venom for a while now, but he's suddenly returned with an anti Chris Louis/Ipswich post on the Ipswich thread only yesterday, and quickly followed it up with this one regarding an Ipswich rider.

Clearly somebody with an axe to grind here.

Lawson hasn't been the same rider since July. I think he needs a bit of rest and also not sure how his bike is performing. Must be something:(

He can ride at Sheffield.

Agree, was flying at the start of the season for Lakeside. Disappointed with him today; reckon he needs a bit more fire in his belly ATM. Hopefully he can find it again for Glasgow in the play-offs

Well done Ulrich. Seems Cook decided to try and race one rider rather than concentrate on just riding his own race and blew it! Still will keep the Monarchs fans quiet! Seem to remember in the first ever gp final in 1995 a certain Hans Nielsen doing the same thing and running Louis and Loram wide that he forgot about Gollob!
