Ipswich Witches Vs Workington Comets Thurs 6th Aug Pl

Recommended Posts

See Witches fans! If your in need of a home win just let the Comets come to town!!! I think this is the end for Rusty, as nice a guy as he is, he's clearly struggling since he's come back. It's the Ricky and Kyle show yet again away from home. What has happened to Rene? He's lost his nerve totally, never goes to the outside, looks slow, seems content with his 7 point average and not moving on

Wells and Howarth the only 2 Comets that looked remotely interested.

Good solid Witches performance.

Excellent guest performance from Richie.

Both reserves looked to be set up very differently in the second half of the match - much more poke off the bends.

Hard on Gino to be excluded - looked to me he laid it down to avoid an out of control Howarth. At very least both shouldve gone if ref considered them separate incidents.

Happy with the 3 points - now need to pop the Plymouth bubble tomorrow!!

Pretty decent performance.

Everyone contributed and a great guest appearance from Richie. I always think Stefan looks a bit uncomfortable at Foxhall but a great performance from him in both rides after the interval with Ashley's ride in 12 also being very good.

Gino is definitely getting there and Cameron seems to be getting his confidence back.

We just need to make the play offs now which looks 50/50 at the moment.

Manzares has no hope of hitting a 7 point average at this rate.

just needs some tinpot state championship tba then....

It was looking fairly promising early doors, possibility of a point, then for virtually no reason we've just fallen apart?

Waste of time taking Bach/Harrison away from DP, just no heart for the job in either of them now, understandable for Rusty, maybe should have just called it a day after that purler he took but as for Rene, well, what has happened to that bloke who bagged a flawless max here a couple of seasons back, untouchable, where's he gone?

Brave efforts from Kyle/Ricky but no support from anywhere else so we were never going to get anything tonight, much as I'd hoped we would have?

Desperate times on the road for us, wonder if the final table will just show, Home- W 12, Away, L 12, cant see a win anywhere not even at Newky on Sunday, injuries or not we just dont have the fight in us to even try to get away results, it's just not happening, too many nondescript performances from too many riders too many times, just getting what we deserve..... Nothing?

Off to bed now, disappointed again? :(

Think it will have to be a state champ as think the national title series has already started

Well after doubting the Witches before this meeting being so understrength, Ritchie Worrell was great and our riders not far behind. An all round team effort with no rider letting the side down and some great passing also to make it exciting.

On to Plymouth tonight with Summers guesting and hopefully another team effort like this to secure another 3 points.

Well done the Witches you did yourselves proud.
