tellboy
milik has been a let down since signing for us! I also think he has been a let down since his first meeting. But you just slate anyone who has had a poor meeting(s).I take it you have finished with Bjerre now

pubichair
This is a thread about the meeting not being disrespectful to Lewis! Result isn't important compared to his health no it's not but still got an opinion on a rider which surely is still aloud?

mdmc82
Tonight was always going to be tough for King's Lynn after yesterday's sad accident. I think they deserve credit for even riding tonight which must have been hard. Kerr & Lambert were big misses tonight and yet they still kept it close. Congratulations to Wolves
KLStars98
Not really sure the timing of posts 40-42 are appropriate. Obviously I appreciate every rider's efforts and bravery for making the sport so entertaining emphasised by yesterday's meeting and I thank them all. Lewis is in all our thoughts and prayers and I wish him all the best to get well. Tonight was always going to be tough for King's Lynn after yesterday's sad accident. I think they deserve credit for even riding tonight which must have been hard. Kerr & Lambert were big misses tonight and yet they still kept it close. Congratulations to Wolves Didn't expect to get anything out of tonight's meeting but well done to all the boys for keeping it close. Well done to Wolves also. Was always going to be a tough meeting for every rider in all meetings tonight and hats off to them for entertaining us once again at a difficult time. tellboy
Would have liked Lynn to have got some points tonight, but under recent events just happy every rider has got through the meeting unscathed.Although unsure on Milik as he had a fall and didn't turn out for his last ride. Hope the meeting was entertaining for those that were there.
Robbobee
As a Bees fan but mostly a speedway fan - personally I think anyone who has the guts to get on a bike and actually ride one deserves plaudits not criticism especially after such a horrific incident as with Lewis Kerr and others before him... The sport is easy when you are behind a keyboard and we should all remember that!! Best Wishes to Lewis and his family for his speedy recovery. PS : Good result for Wolves tonight and pleasing to see Fast Freddie back to some form. Cheers

Fourentee
Would have liked Lynn to have got some points tonight, but under recent events just happy every rider has got through the meeting unscathed.Although unsure on Milik as he had a fall and didn't turn out for his last ride. Hope the meeting was entertaining for those that were there. Initially announced as a possible broken collarbone, but later as a muscle injury. It was also announced that Milik would take his last ride but he then withdrew. So evidently nothing too serious, thankfully, if he was originally contemplating that last outing. Congratulations to the Lynn riders tonight for a spirited and competitive display under the most trying of circumstances. Very impressive.
stevebrum
Whilst it was good to get a win again it's harsh coming against a team in shock right now. For Wolves, this shows what having a proper number one scoring what he should. Shockingly poor crowd as clearly fans are voting with their feet. Given the injury concerns for the Stars they looked more than capable of getting a point out if the match right till Wolves ride a blinder to deny Iversen that saw us grab some belief from somewhere. Racing was dull early on but certainly had a fair few classics later on. Porkie got the crowd to do a loud applause at the start of the parade for Lewis which I thought was a nice touch and I believed most of the crowd wanted to acknowledge the events of yesterday. I will take that win with a renewed hope we could catch Lakeside for 6th, so low are our goals these days. WOLVES FRED - sublime and the Freddie of old. Lost his max in the last but it was clear he was more than happy that the team won. 4.5/5 MOTM JACOB - decent enough match although his tapes exclusion could have been costly with us just 4 up at that point. 3/5 RICKY - great couple of Laps battle with Niels in heat 3 and more than did his job as heat leader. 3/5 TOBBY - frustrating. 2 decent rides and 2 when he looked out of his depth. 2.5/5 PK - struggled badly early on but came good in the 2 big heats and did his job in those. 2/5 LEWIS - in reality should have cleaned up at reserve tonight. Did an 'OK' job but struggles at times. 2/5 MAX - expected nothing so was pleasantly surprised and battled hard for his points, thanks Max! 3.5/5 STARS Iversen - struggled in heat 1 but other than being owned in heat 13 was great as expected. 3.5/5 Porsing - good effort, quick and tried hard in each race. Impressed me. 3.5/5 RR - got 8 points which maybe was a fair score. Still think Lambert might have got double figures. Bjerre - won his easier races but 10 points from 6 races is hardly going to help your team win. 2.5/5 Milik - quick but was trying too hard in heat 11 with Freddie gone and took a heavy hit when he fell from his bike, was announced as going to ride heat 13 (after the initial suspected broken shoulder) but was replaced so no idea if he had 2nd thoughts. Hope he is OK. 2.5/5 Branford - was never expected to replace Kerr and although he tried he was not an adequate replacement. 2/5 Morris - good to see OUR Ash get a win in the 12th but that was the extent if his nights work. 1.5/5 Interesting comment from Porkie about last week's match against Swindon. Rosco complained to the ref that his over exuberance and noise volume was putting the Swindon riders off so the ref had to warn Porkie !! Rosco, what a tool. g13webb
Congratulations to Wolves for the win, but one that was expected considering the circumstances.... To put this meeting into some form of prospective, Would Coventry have done any better with Garrity missing? , of Poole missing Newman? Top draft riders are more important now than the No. 1's. So,for Lynn to push hard in this situation was commendable, . Thinking of Lewis laying there in Hospital, not know the extent of his injuries yet, makes one realise how unimportant speedway results are.....
Daniel Smith
Bjerre's score was quite remarkable when you consider he's still clearly disturbed by the events of Sunday
start fox
Well done to all the boys involved in this meeting, after a difficult weekend. Coventry was a tester for the KL boys, with some riders really struggling to get to grips with the track. One thing I find hard to understand is young Robert, pulled out of the Cob meeting on medical grounds, yet less than 24 hours later he is riding at Rye House, a track you have to turn hard. Yet 15 point maximum, with no sign of any ill effects. Again less than 24 hours he pulls out of another meeting, unfortunately he has not been the signing Peterborough had wished for. Has been in fine form for KL. Morris is showing signs of improvement, Porsing has shown what he is capable of, looks much more comfortable on the bike. Milik on the other hand does not look comfortable on the bike, from the outside it looks like he has to over ride the bike. Bjerre still shows what he can do, and then in another ride goes backwards. Just hope Sunday's events don't effect him too much.
rudger
Rosco, what a tool. That's very harsh , what a team manager , we beat you his actions payed off , your choppsy announcer was reprimanded , if that was Havelock his toys and dummy would be all over the track , he's the whinger Steve

INCOGNITO
Kings Lynn did well last night and only silly mistakes cost them a point from this one. Iversen letting Thorssell through in heat one and Branford letting Clegg catch him in heat 12 before falling under pressure. Plus Milik losing control and flipping his bike and lucky to see the bike land just to the side of his head. Wolves made a few mistakes too like Thorssell hitting the tapes and Musielak injuring his arm again winning his third ride but the one mistake Kings Lynn did was heat 13 and not getting Morris to touch the tapes enabling Iversen to be off gate 2 instead of 4 against Lindgren and Karlsson. Overall Kings Lynn got 8 from Lambert rides and overall just ran short in the end to a more consistent team

Yep, lets shut up someone trying to create an atmosphere.. Far better for it to be a morgue like experience. Ban cheering as well, just a wave of the hand as riders cross the line will suffice.. maybe lift your programme board in the air too..
