LagutaRacingFan
Why does Peter Adams spend so much time with Tai? Maybe if he focused on his own riders then Wolves would be doing a lot better.
mdmc82
As expected, great guest in Harris tonight 3,3,3,2. Swindon's highest scorer tonight from regular rides.
thecoombdog
My mate who is there says the racing has been absolutely top notch tonight. Well done Bomber. Top effort from a guest. He must be the only person in speedway who isn't afraid of Swindon making the play offs! Swindon Poole BV Cov These play off semis look nailed on to me now. Steve0
As expected, great guest in Harris tonight 3,3,3,2. Swindon's highest scorer tonight from regular rides. I think you will find Ward was unbeaten By an opponent!
rudger
Absolutely, that is not in dispute . However at Wolves Harris is the much better option, no dispute. well I'm glad u have cleared that up then , because of how well Morris has performed this year we are well within our rights to call upon a reserve of equal average to replace him , no skullduggery involved , is this the case as Swindon are being dragged thro the proverbial as to cheating yet again ,
E I Addio
So presumably Lakeside never use guests then? Nick Morris has been exceptional this year, and his average reflects that. With regards to using Harris, it's not Swindon's fault that Coventry's top 2 have been dropping their averages. The point that is being missed is not the fact that there is a guest and its not the fact that the guest strengthens the team. That happens all the .time to all clubs. But it seems to me to be the height of conceit to proclaim it as a "great win" when what you are doing is rolling over the likely wooden spoon team with an enhanced team of your own. Other clubs have won at Wolves this year and I don't think any fans have been on here crowing about it being a "great win" . It is unfortunately a fairly common place occurrence this year against a weak team with an underperforming No1. I say unfortunately because when teams get into the sort of mess Wolves are in it invariably impacts on crowd numbers and that is not good for the sport. An away win over the top two clubs could be classed as pretty impressive, but talking about a "great win" over the wooden spoonists is pretty much a Swindon thing it seems. As I said it depends on your standpoint but if you think it's a great win, that's fine, but many would say that's somewhat triumphalist. BritPete
Congratulations to Swindon on getting all 4 points at Wolverhampton for the second time this season.
Grachan
Suppose Nick had ridden and finished one place further back than Bomber in each of his rides. That would give him 2,2,1,2 from his programmed rides. Swindon would still be 8 up going into heat 15.
A ORLOV
Another 4 points to add to the Robins tally probably. Third post of the thread before we knew Nick was not riding. Edited August 10, 2015 by A ORLOV

Crazy robin
Just can't believe the cheek of Ward. Riding his average down by taking paid wins behind Batch. That was always going to be the case but Batch wins more with him in the same race as he doesn't have a rider get close to him to let through when on his own.

Swindon had to win tonight to have any chance of making the play offs so it is a great win in that Respect ..Bar losing to Swindon wolves have just beaten Poole 2nd and Kings Lynn 3rd at home in recent Weeks ...the bookmakers could hardly split the sides tonight in the betting ...so yet again for Swindon is it's great and vital win ..you also said Swindon win tonight was something do with it not being a level playing field ...what did that mean ? A ORLOV
Swindon should now be third in table ahead of BV and KL.

I was joking mate! Just a dig at all the people who said we were mad to sign Ward as he wouldn't care about Swindon and would be more worried about getting his average down. I wouldn't call tonight a great win by any means. It was job done against a very poor side. Maybe if we win at BV or KL then we can celebrate a great win.

Grachan
Suppose Nick had ridden and finished one place further back than Bomber in each of his rides. That would give him 2,2,1,2 from his programmed rides. Swindon would still be 8 up going into heat 15. So, if Nick had scored 2,2,1,2 Swindon win 40-50. If you drop him 2 places and give him 1,1,0,1 I make it 41-49. I'm sure Nick could have managed 3 points. van wolfswinkel
That was even easier than last time, didn't have to come from behind, 10 heat wins in an away match!. Fantastic again from Darce, top of the averages, and the new Monmore track record! Cheers Bomber. Wolves look to be wooden spoonists which is a shame for their loyal fans, but the 2 Swedes are not up to it at 1 &5...disgraceful from Freddie, and PK should now retire. Well done Arsene Rossiter's rampant, rockin red Roobins. After the Wolves good start to the season and Swindon's bad start things have turned round. 8 meetings left, 3 home ,5 away, and apart from Leicester at home all top 5 opponents, so tough run-in, Cov twice away, once at home. Fantastic run at moment for the west-country side. Edited August 10, 2015 by haydon hat

I know but if it means Troy hasn't got to worry about a rider getting close to him then everyone is a winner. Darcy is old school when it comes to looking for his team mates & he has kick started our season. And you worked that out all by yourself.....AMAZING! Maybe the next time you come to Swindon we can meet up & see if you're as brave to call me that to my face. I know what the answer will be.
