orion
Some fans at Glasgow seem to think that's what was said last night. Nothing officially announced though. Who would you hope to have as a guest for him for this meeting? Some fans at Glasgow seem to think that's what was said last night. Nothing officially announced though. YerRopes
To be entitled to call yourself the new Poole you will have to start winning trophies!! A very fair point FB.. That's the way I'm sure a lot of you Robins fans watch your racing these days. Only when the hapless Wolves come to town... Reading various Wolves threads aren't your crowds diminishing week by week..

YerRopes
Less hapless in 2009, great memories. Indeed... I remember that well, from memory Leigh Adams failed to win a race at Monmore.. And we'd won the League (prior to PO's too) Distant memory now though..

And yes, the memories are distant and receding by the year!

thecoombdog
ask orion where I stand he has meet me there before. I'll be the one doing the updates so a bit busy texting to stand around moaning and drinking pints. I don't drink so the offer of a pint isn't required. A polite hello is usually suffice assuming you can manage that - assuming you even go to watch the racing. That's the way I'm sure a lot of you Robins fans watch your racing these days. Why would I go up there and not watch the racing?

I will be traveling up for what will no doubt be another easy 4 points for the mighty Rosco. You will know who I am I will be the one stood there with a massive grin on my face. Your lot Need to keep winning or Belle Vue will beat you too it. Anything less than 4 points on Monday will be a croak.
mdmc82
Should be a 4pt win for Swindon. Pressure on for the play off chase.

I'm sure you have posted that with your tongue firmly in your cheek SpecialOne. I'm not so sure it will be easy at all. Wolves have recently beaten a couple of decent sides at Monmore and Lindgren has at last looked like the class rider he is. This will be a tough match. Probably a last heat decider. Both the Aces and Robins will be top 4 I reckon ,Stars are beginning to show a few nerves and obviously the unfortunate Lewis situation will not help , fingers crossed for him and all his close family , maybe the Stars will use it as a motivation , hope we hear some positive news soon
BritPete
I have no doubt that this will be a tough meeting.Don't forget that we were losing last time, but then the struggling Morris was injured, and r/r gave us a very strong finish, and that was that. A ORLOV
I understand that Nick is planning to ride on Sunday, if not able to we may have guest or r/r again but a full one this time.

Happy to croak to the Aces but I hope for more fire for a change against the average swindlers. Hopefully Rosco will concentrate on his team instead of Porkie this time. GregoryM
Next up for the Robins is a quick return to Monmore after the recent comeback victory , a 39 - 51 win that began a massive week for the Robins , again it will be the reserves that will have a major say on Swindons chances , since that win Charles Wright has suffered injury and he scored 9 that evening with guest Ashley Morris scoring 5 , I would guess Nick Morris would be back by then but he suffered a fall that night that ended his evening , Swindon will be confident of covering his rides , Wolves have the problem that fast Freddie is not so fast at the moment and Peter for once in his long illustrious career does not appear as competitive , a great rider none the less , I think Swindon can again secure big points due to the high confidence and Wolves lack of it , the fact that we have a proper No1 now in Ward spreads confidence thro the team He certainly looked competitive at Belle Vue last Wednesday night anyway.
