comet49
Jason Garrity out for a few days with a knee injury. Sheffield using R/R. Pity about that, very entertaining rider. We'll now probably have the dubious pleasure of seeing Danny have six rides mmm

comet49
I agree, Castagnas first visit I think, Josh Bates good but can be a bit of a nutter and they kept faith with Sissis last season, good test for our reserves, should be a good meeting. If Josh is only a bit of one, does that make Jason the full on real deal?

Don't think I've seen that about Jason. Edited August 1, 2015 by comet49

comet49
This is Arthur's first season riding 500cc bikes competitively. Yeh I stand corrected, memory playing tricks on my ageing brain, he wasn't very good at the start though.

Don't think I've seen that about Jason. Sorry, thought you were meaning his unorthodox and at times erratic riding style. Something which Garrity seems to also often exhibit, but at x10. comet49
Better meeting than the score suggests but expected more from Bellago. Hope Josh is ok, another case of a rider getting injured in an incident that wasn't his fault, unable to miss Matt who came off while leading. Matt had one more ride then withdrew. Danny King is class and will be sought after next season, Hansen great to watch and has the showman about him, definitely a crowd pleaser. No luck for Sheffield with Garrity out too, just wish Comets could get something from away meetings, was good to see Rusty winning a race. scaramanga
i agree comet49 the score line sugests easy win but this was a good entertaining meeting with some good racing thrown in as for the ref well usual contrevertial calls from the scotish ref how on earth can you fine a rider for delaying start while still on 2 mins and as far as i know klindt didnt get fine for his dram show when he delayed the start messing round from 1 gate to the other instead of lineing up in the gate he should have Edited August 1, 2015 by scarra
Lord Lucan
Not as tough a match as I thought then? To be fair tho, once Sheff turned up without Garrity then lost Bates after not even a couple of laps they were never going to be much of a threat to the Comets? Certainly tried hard and offered some good races but were always unable to offer much support to Danny King, that aside tho I like to think that that was down to a very good all round performance from the Comets? Looking quite sharp for a change out the starts and some determined and entertaining racing thrown in, my first match for weeks and it was good to see pts for Mattie at last, few more meetings like this wont go far wrong!! Yeah, happy with that, a nice comfortable 3pts to keep us within touching distance of the play offs, need to show this kind of form away from home tho if we are to stand any chance in them, anything is possible, if you try hard enough? Also, thumbs up to the track staff, thought that surface looked in pretty good nick tonight, held up well and contributed to some of those good races, very smooth and even and a few good race lines that didn't stop anyone having a go on them, good job fella's!!
