Is Sarjeant still carrying an injury? (I'm interested as I have him in one of my Fantasy teams!) Or is it simply that he has been 'found out' for his rolling starts - a bit like Hans - and more referees are keeping a check on it.?

Hans has not been found out for his rolling starts his problem is during the race where he is too slow and being picked off with ease !!

He's still having physio on his arm after his crash at Poole. He is very low on confidence at the moment and its sadly showing in both leagues. Last night he didn't even look like he was challenging and just going through the motions.

See Garrity went to hospital last night to have knee checked over. Has pulled out of Tigers meeting.

Just needs to rest it for a bit

Makes his performance last night even more remarkable when you think he injured it in heat 2, which was why he didn't get up until crowd shouted for him to push the bike round and then he went on to top score. The lad really gives 100%. Hope he's not made it worse though

He was just slow and getting further behind every lap. Not sure if it's partly machinery but his injuries hasn't helped.

there was an incident at coventry probably 5 years back were the sidecar crashed through the start area, sending marshalls running for cover.

sidecars are hilariously dangerous!

Proved last night by one outfit leaving the track in the display race. Luckily no staff were standing there and the driver managed to get back on the track again. Presumably if it had been during the 'proper' meeting he would have been excluded.

Good meeting last night and a good crowd too. King's Lynn are nearly always good visitors to Brandon and look forward to our matches against the Stars. Much like last year though, we just about had enough to beat them with 5 riders  Remember 'draft rider guestgate'?!

Kylmakorpi once again making the difference for us, along with Garrity's latest heroics at reserve. He didn't look a happy camper walking off track after heat 11 though. Couldn't tell if he was just annoyed at his bike trouble or for being put in the race in the first place with him out in heat 12 straight after. The heat 11 result made all the difference though with some great team riding from the in form Bomber.

Good to see some sidecars back on the Brandon track, really miss their 2nd halves! I remember the centre green antics well from them and no surprise that they had to clear the track staff to the outside of the track.

Fingers crossed that Sarj can get his mojo back soon, nice to see the crowd aren't getting on the back of perhaps our secret weapon for the last year and a half. Agree that a change is needed at No. 2 though with so many points to play with. It could make all the difference for the run in.

Good crowd, nice night, speedway not bad either, thought Bees had blown it early on. Gosh even took a while to get out of stadium, shades of British Final on a Sunday afternoon some years ago. If this carries on can they really close Brandon down?

We have been lucky because even charging full price, the stadium has been packed esp the last few meetings. However I still don't think that's enough to change Sandhu's mind when he sadly has eyes on his millions 😞

You should try going out of the other gate as there's no waiting there. Also if you're turning right like I do you can do your good deed for the day and let someone out of the other exit where everyone is queuing up.

Equalled it, broken it, then broken his own new record! 15 point maximum

That's some recovery....... So for his low score at Brandon he doesn't have any excuses.... Just put it down to an off night

Probably to weary of Garrity !!!

TBF Lambert wasn't great on our track last time the teams met, scoring 5 from 5 and beaten by Sarjeant. He's a great rider but every rider has a track they are not so good on. Edited by mdmc82
