g13webb
Assuming they finish top, and that is by no means certain. Probably after last nights result, Poole will pick Swindon, so either way we could finish up facing Coventry......
SCB
Probably after last nights result, Poole will pick Swindon, so either way we could finish up facing Coventry...... After last night I doubt Swindon will be making the play-offs. They have to win 3 of their 7 away meetings. They have to go back to Poole, twice at Coventry. They have to get wins at Lynn, Lakeside, BV and Wolves. That does admittedly assume BV don't lose a home meeting.
mdmc82
For the Bees, Stuart Robson has been ruled out of the meeting as a result of his crash at Lakeside on Monday. After visiting his doctor yesterday, Robson expects to be out for a couple of weeks but has also been advised to see a neurosurgeon as a precaution. Former Coventry rider Aaron Summers comes in to guest on Friday in an otherwise unchanged line-up. Boss Gary Havelock said: Stuart has had a few knocks to the head this season, and its absolutely the right thing for him to get a proper scan. Two things you dont take any risks with are your head and your back so we wish him well and hopefully hell be able to return soon. Aaron is in good form, he knows the track well of course and Im sure hell do the job for us.

They've haven't necessarily got to win 3 away. Two 4 point away wins and an away loss of less than 7 will do or, any combination that gives them 9 away points or 8 points and a better points for and against than BV. Providing of course that neither team drops any home points or that BV don't pick up any more away.
Woz01
This should be a cracking meeting tonight. Think Bees will sneak it but I reckon Kings Lynn will take a point. Hans a 2nd string from tonight? Edited July 31, 2015 by woz01
g13webb
This should be a cracking meeting tonight. Think Bees will sneak it but I reckon Kings Lynn will take a point. Hans a 2nd string from tonight? Same as with Kenneth Bjerre, Hans Andersen wiIl drop to a 2nd string as from tomorrow, (01-08-15). So the matches next week at the AFA should be interesting. Footnote: This new race format that pairs heat leaders against each other sure makes some the CMA look strange. Both Hans and Kenneth have rode better in the past but surely they can't be class as 2nd strings?? Not in a league while world talent is thin on the ground......... Strange...... Star Lady
I was wrongly informed we play Coventry at home next week. Obviously a mistake, as you say Only reason I knew was cos I'm possibly going , Coventry being one of only two teams I like watching and I can't make Brandon tonight. . There again if it threatens even one drop of rain, I'm staying at home lol.

mdmc82
We will need Hans to do better than he did last night guesting for Swindon 😁 also need King & Sarjeant firing again. This is going to be close
g13webb
I'd take a point now!!!!!! Hard place too go this year and get something.. If the STARS all shine bright and Coventry go missing we might BEE lucky
stevebrum
Good point for the Stars, looking good for 3rd.
pubichair
Good point but God Lynn need a second heat leader! This team is poor!
g13webb
In the end we got a point, but have to be disappointed after starting so well. Garrity and Joonas stood out for the Bees, who, for me looked vulnerable at times. King, Hans and Harris had their moments but Sarj and Summers appeared to have struggled. But Garrity at reserve must be a Godsend to any-team.... Well done to the Stars on the point gained, a good team performance, one that can be even bettered... come the PO's.. Steve0
Good point for the Stars, looking good for 3rd. If you think KL look good for third then that explains why you thought wolves were a play off team this year Both Swindon and BV are reeling them in and it's 2 from those 3 in the play offs - KL may yet falter! SCB
Swindon took a huge leap towards the playoffs today while Lynn's point will help. Puts Pressure on BV now to get a result away - or for Lynn and/or Swindon to mess up at home. Coventry need a decent rider at number 2, just 3 or 4 from them 3 rides would have made tonight a lot more comfortable.
mdmc82
Firstly what a brilliant crowd it was again tonight and some really good racing. I personally think King's Lynn have been the best visiting team we have had this year. Some very quick race times by both teams with Harris equaling the fastest time of the season. We made hard work of it to start with but to still get the win with Summers & Sarjeant only scoring 1pt between them is amazing. James is a bit of a concern at the moment as looks so low on confidence and like he's just going through the motions. Brilliant team riding by Harris in heat 11. As for Jason Garrity, he just gets better. Was brilliant to watch again tonight. He beat the whole of Kings Lynn's team (except NKI)!! I'm not convinced about the sidecars, I thought speedway was dangerous but they look very risky. Edited July 31, 2015 by mdmc82
