g13webb
Strange fixture this, in that the result is not directly as it seems. Coventry, as league leaders will have the choice of opponents come the play off, and the chances are they will choose the Stars. Many thinking we are the weakest of the top four, would assume we are easy to beat. So this match has a big relevance on peoples opinion. Most teams come to the AFA with relish, knowing they will be able to compete. I'm sure Coventry, as with all the others, have no worries riding at Lynn, whereas when the Stars travel away, they are sometimes, not close affairs. So the dilemma facing Rob in this match, do we go there with an eye on the Play-off's not giving nothing away, or go with all guns blazing, knowing if we put up a good show, they might not fancy is come PO's. To go to Brandon this year and win is difficult, but possible. We would need all our riders on top form, and all the luck going. If that is what's required, then I would rather it be in the Playoffs' than for 3 points that at the end of the day means very little..... Bee 26
Could be a close meeting at home but I don't fancy us on any of the big tracks away come the playoffs especially KL

I dont think kings lynn are the weakest it is more even than previous years, the beauty of the play offs is we still dont know who will be the final four and its not certain who they would pick, all the teams have their weaknessess and a tricky decision awaits. semion
Will Hans continue with his average lowering for next season, or has it got it now where he needs it to be ?
philfromcov
i dont think any team wants to got the the arena with its massive home advantage, the kings lynn team has done nothing away but are in the play offs because of the home advantage, the track isnt what it was

mdmc82
I agree that Coventry are bound to be looking at both this & the away fixture against King's Lynn with one eye on the play offs. We went to King's Lynn last time and only lost by 8pts against a team with Rory and with us using Conor Mountain at reserve and JK having EF whilst on a TR so I think we might pick them out of possible teams. I think the Swindon home & away meetings will also have a big say in who we pick in the play offs. If Belle Vue make it then I've no doubt we would pick them as it's our best away track. However with there still being 7 meetings left, there are no guarantees that Poole won't finish top. As for this meeting it should be close. We will need King firing again. It should be closer at reserve with Kerr V Garrity and although Sarjeant would usual be able to beat Morris with ease at Brandon, his current form is a bit of a worry. Does anybody know if Robson is riding after his crash on Monday? Edited July 29, 2015 by mdmc82
SCB
Does anybody know if Robson is riding after his crash on Monday? If he has concussion he should not be riding for at least a week.
g13webb
If he has concussion he should not be riding for at least a week. If like you say, he was withdrawn because of concussion, then for medical reasons he won't be allowed to ride within 7 days....... But bearing in mind Sarjeant is top of the tier 2 Draft list, I can see quite a few names available, who ride the AFA really well...... So it wouldn't be a too bigger loss, if that was the case...... It all depends on the reason given for his withdrawal..

Not a lot of good guests available for Robbo's average even with the home 5%. Edited July 29, 2015 by mdmc82

There is no 5% as Robbo is doubling up. And Summers is surely the obvious choice? Would be nice to see them give Nikolaj Busk-Jacobsen with a view to him signing for the Bees one day. He's had a brilliant first season in the PL and when you look back at the foreign riders who have made it from the PL the list is full of Danes (with the odd Aussie), lets get our claws into him now! If and and it's a big if, Belle Vue qualify, Cov will most probably pick BV, as they ride our track better than their own. Poole vs KL over two legs could be tight, depends who turns up on the nights.

SCB
Lol easily done GRW123 SCB, summers would be great if a guest is needed but I thought he was too high? Summers average is surprisingly low. We have just short of PL 8 and Summers is 7.2ish
mdmc82
Summers average is surprisingly low. We have just short of PL 8 and Summers is 7.2ish That's good then. Wasn't sure if they used his EL average. If possible and Robson's out then he would be a brilliant guest. He's in good form.
