Sheffield Vs Rye 30th July Pl

Recommended Posts

Can't have a guest for Andre Charlieboy. With Brady in for Simon the only choices are Andre, RR, or redeclare.

Yes you are right the guest ruling is quite complicated this season what with injuries, doubling up and down cant keep track whos replacing who lately. !!!!! Be interesting who the new rider will be as there isn't much choice out there.Lets hope we can pull a rabbit out of the hat. :t:

Have Sheffield actually re-declared, Ive looked at July & August on averages BSPA and Ashley is still in.

That would mean Paco isnt eligible tonight

According to BSPA website now, Michele Castagna is now declared. Is this Paco's sister?

Very entertaining meeting with some quality racing and a good result.Josh Bates awesome performance, hope he can start doing it away now.Good to Arthur putting in a good performance too.Thought Bates was unlucky not to get a max especially when his team mate chopped across him to stop his run.All in all a great performance from the team. Not sure about the Klindt signing but at least the promotors are trying their best.Good luck to all the team tomorrow.

Anyone know what happened with Garrity and Jacobson (was it?) last night? seemed to kick off in the pits after race 13 but I didnt see anything on track that would of caused it...

Good meeting and a good win for the tigers. Pleased to see our reserves now firing, especially bates who looks a totally different rider to the start of the season. Happy with Klidnt although slightly dissapointed that Andre won't be back anymore this season.

Another healthy crowd in too which is always good to see!

I had a very good view of it standing by the pits. Garrity had a few words with Jakobsen after they got off their bikes after the race, then Garrity pushed the Dane, but Nikolaj just walked away. Josh Bates decided to shove him too, then retreated back to the pits before JG was pulled away. It continued in the pits when Garrity completely lost it with someone in the crowd, even his family joined in.

We met Nikolaj at the M1 services when he told us Garrity continued the argument in the changing rooms, offering to take him outside for a fight. He even argued with Len Silver after the meeting. I asked Nikolaj what prompted the meltdown. Apparently he accused him of turning right as they were going into the first bend in heat 13. No mention of the reckless dive inside on the 3rd bend in heat 4 which led to Jackobsen hitting the deck.

Surely not the lovely cheeky cuddly Garrity that the teletubby twins seem to drool over?

Must be the imposter that tried to beat up Derek Sneddon with his helmet last year!!

(Still love the pic of Sam Masters falling about laughing at the spectacle!!)

Might buy the DVD for this meeting see what really happened at the start of heat 13, to be honest I did not see anything untoward, but it won't be the first time I have missed what has happened, so it will be interesting to see what happened if anything.

The heat 4 incident was as clear cut as anything down to Jason.

I don't whether or not because it was Rye and what went at the start of the season but Jason did appear to be really wound up last night, and it was the first time since he came to Sheffield that he appeared not be riding with his head. So far this season the meetings that I have seen (which is everyone bar 1) at Sheffield he has rode with his head.

But it is something that he needs to look at, because when he does ride with his head in gear he is a very talented rider, but cannot afford to keep getting himself involved in silly arguments and fights.

Having a clearer view around 20 feet away Josh Bates never pushed anyone!!!!!! What I did see was someone in the crowd at the side of the pits throw something into the pits at Jason and someone else spit at him from the crowd again from the side of the pits. Not suggesting it's anyone!!! But I would recognise the face of a coward that picked up his little lad afterwards, whoever you are your a coward.

Now what would anyone one do if they were spat at????? I know what I would do and so would 99.99% of other men.

Who was it in the crowd that the Garrity gang had a go at I wonder ???

If that is true then it is no wonder Jason reacted.

Wasn't anyone I was with. Not many Rye fans there, certainly didn't see any with kids.

It looked to me as if there was some previous hard feelings between Garrity and Jakobsen . In my opinion Jason is doing himself no favours acting like he did in heat 4 and after heat 13.

Nikolai Jakobsen appeared to be by far the more reasonable of the two.

I have been getting excited about Jason's skills on track but I was disappointed in him last night.

It looked to me by the way that Josh Bates tripped Jakobsen as he crossed the dog track, but not sure if he did it deliberately or not.

I think that jakobsen was treated pretty badly as a guest of sheffield tigers.
