Bash
I thought Barbara fell off the crate she stands on in the refs box.
Baldyman
Well that made a welcome change 3 home points for the win , the saying goes you can only beat what's in front of you and thats true from last night . Scunthorpe didn't really put much of a fight up last night racing was not at its best could have been down to the track was a little tricky in places and last night's heat times did seem to reflect that being a good 1-1.5 seconds slower on average than we have seen a Foxhall this season . Nike Lunna , young lad 18 i think some great hair and won heat 2 very nicely . Looks like you may have a star in the making there if he progresses good find that one from the Scunthorpe team . Was good to see Gino (9+4) and Cameron(11) having good nights , was prob Camerons best showing at Foxhall for a long time . Danny(17+1) and Nico(15+1) were miles better than anyone last night . Danny paid max without to much effort only really had to work once when he missed the gate. Nico one slight mistake in heat 15 which cost him a paid max otherwise his normally all effort round the outside show . Heat 7 was the Nico show after missing the start and popping out last he kept it wound on with two outside passes to win the race . Ashley(2+1) looked a little under power last night never really got going and don't think he made the gate once last night which has been his main asset since arriving . Stefan(5+1) nothing spectacular just steady points . R/R for Tungate last night , Rohan not really missed A welcome home win and much need 3 points with harder home matches i'm sure to come , I thought morris had to much power, cos what he did have he couldn't get it down. Sounded like he was spinning up all night.

I'm no expert when it comes to bikes baldy so your prob right . Just seemed to lack speed one way or another to put in a a pass or gate last night
2ndbendbeerhut
So ipswich HAD to have a number 8 but it went all night unnoticed that Nike Lunna was wearing a yellow only helmet cover! Strange sport eh?
Bash
So who was the number 8 then? I thought it was down to the team if they have a number 8 or not.

Pob
You sure it was a yellow helmet cover and not his hair
Siggytastic
Having thought about it, if an Ipswich rider had of worn it, I wouldn't post it so am deleting the video from my 2 megapixel phone.

Baldyman
A yellow only helmet cover. He should have been thrown out of the meeting for that surely. Then all of his points should have been given to us :-P
Tom Thumb
So who was the number 8 then? I thought it was down to the team if they have a number 8 or not. I'm sure they said it was Danyon Hume, Rye House Raiders.
June
It appeared to go unnoticed, but we did have a No.8 for the evening. The Scunny management team insisted on it! Just how petty was that! What would they have done it we hadn't found one........sat on the startline in protest? Have some feelings for our promoter for gods sake. I minutes madness from your Ipswich rider has buggered our season up altogether.
Fozzie4388
Make your mind up old girl yesterday it was injuries to Howe and Douglas that had spoilt the season and now it's all down to Tungate getting hammered by Sheffield, losing at home to Redcar, hammered by rye house at home, home hammering by Edinburgh and Somerset all Tungates fault right? If your Promoter hadn't built a crap team to start with at start of the season E.g Signing Howe and Davies as Heat leaders you wouldn't be in the position your in. Only one person to blame Edited July 31, 2015 by Superstar1
Bash
Your season was buggered anyway before this happened, Tungate only injured one of your riders, or are you blaming him for everything that has gone wrong this season. You were never going to make the play-offs with the poorly put together team as being bottom of the league shows.
WembleyLion
Danyon Hume was indeed the no. 8. He was there early for an after the meeting practice when he was asked to step in and he thoroughly enjoyed his first experience of Foxhall. Bash
Ipswich got nothing to gloat about. We have won the league since joining the prem! Who's saying we are gloating. Yes, we haven't won the league since joining the premier league but the club is run within it's financial limits. Look what buying the league has done to your club and others before and maybe that's why your club is in the position it is financially with fans turning their backs when the teams struggling. It's not good to see as we don't want any clubs shutting.
phillwhitewasmad
I was Nikes mechanic last night (not the one from last week) and we put the yellow cover on as that's how it is in the programme just yellow not yellow black hope this clears up the confusion. TheScotsman
Do any programmes show yellow/black?
Baldyman
It obviously doesnt matter if it's yellow or yellow black. Otherwise the competent ref would have pulled it up

Otherwise the competent ref would have pulled it up Haha what you saying that the refs believe everything written in the programmes as 100% accurate? First Redcar and their "dodgy" averages for RR and now this.... what has this sport come to! Ps rule states: 12.12.1 A set of Helmets (or Helmet Covers) of the following colours: Red, Blue, White & Yellow /Black, the bold is for new changes to rulebook for 2015
