ABS
Unfortunately Mikkel Bech suffered a hand injury in his crash last night so Kyle Howarth guests in his place for Lakeside. That's a shame as he rode really well last night. Chasing a lost cause in heat 15 and came a right cropper exiting the fourth bend of the last lap

mdmc82
Positive signs for Kcrmar tonight who sounds like he was more of the pace. I hope Wright is ok. Lakeside must of had Swindon worried for awhile though as kept it very close for most of the meeting. After watching how well Hans scored for Coventry on Monday, I'm surprised how bad he was tonight Lawson & Starke also seemed to struggle on track. stevebrum
Well you'd know all about unconvincing wouldnt you? I would, mostly Swindon away matches besides Wolves. I've got used to watching rubbish following Wolves this year so I recognise it very well.

Grachan
Decent meeting tonight. It was close for most of the match and Lakeside looked dangerous, but Swindon put in a big finish. Â Darcy Ward was excellent tonight. It's great having him in the side, and crowds are looking healthy too - possibly as a result. Â Good point for Krcmar, beating Howarth. He looked pleased with himself too, doing a celebration lap. Â Great to see the riders coming out into the crowd for autographs and photos. It's always nice when that happens.
stratton
A half decent meeting tonight, Kennett,Ellis great value AJ (sublime in heat 1) he passed Ward fromt the back. Also what was really worrying was Ward i felt rode pretty average to his mega standards he scored but he made mistakes. But in the last race he was really on it , stepped up god knows how many gears this bloke is a class act. Falcon Hammer
Good crowd & excellent match - great to watch Darcy Ward again, different class. Amazing how quickly one forgets just how talented he is  1st race last to first, lifted off T4 & AJ took the win 2nd race team rode a slow Batch to a 5-1 & great defence against Eddie Kennett. His team riding into the first turn is superb 3rd race great overtake on Eddie & unbeaten in his last 2  Turn 2 was catching all the riders out at some point during the match, just drifting too wide; except Darcy always in full control  The guy is awesome  ...and to think I'll have the pleasure of watching him again at Lakeside tonight. Lucky Robins fans can watch him for the rest of the season  Special mention to Eddie Kennett, who has had a superb July for House & Lakeside; had another great meeting tonight
Grachan
Banford rode well. I'd never heard of him but he had a couple of decent wins. Â Now I read the match report and it turns out he's Australian. Â Grateful to have a guest at reserve who could score points, but how come Australians can ride at reserve? And how did he get a visa? Â Does he have British parents?

His mother is English which is why he could ride in the NL

rudger
I visited the Abbey for the first time this year , it was reassuring for the first time in several years I felt we had a true No 1 , someone u could totally rely on when it got close , I was a regular when the great Leigh Adams was our number one and he rarely got beat , he managed 13,14,15 points a meeting , since his days we have had only one season with Hans were I felt our number 1 would be a handful for any opposition . We've had Scott Nichols who was awful as a Swindon number 1 , we know have Darcy Ward , not a particular. favourite until know , I fully appreciate his skills , he is a true No1 , will score u bags of points , we at Swindon as fans and the Swindon management have to demonstrate to Darcy that he can be a legend for us and not have to share this as he does at Poole , fair play to Poole , I don't like them from the rivalry as far back as Martin Ashby , Malcolm Simmons era but they know how to take care of there assets , we need to convince Darcy he can be top dog with us , try as he did last night ,Troy Bachelor just does not have the speed as Darcy was coaxing him home , Lakeside fair play made it a good battle and I can see Edouard improve with his confidence , come on Swindon let's try and convince him we are as professional as Poole as one day he will be World Champion , the boy has class
