Poole Pirates Vs Swindon Robins 29/7/15

Recommended Posts

Is everybody in Poole so self-interested that they cannot get volunteers. At the Abbey they have team of about 5/6 volunteers every Thursday, meeting or no meeting who maintain the track & fences, digging in new drains, new access for the Sky broadcast cables, etc., etc. Look up the Blunsdon Blog, you may find it very interesting.

Then you are very lucky.

Is it online, have you a link please?

Im still waiting also..

There was a periscope video which I understood was on You Tube. Might be worth checking piratecast1 on you tube - although I don't need to watch it again to know that Wright was at fault!!

Yeh cheers mate, but its funny that nobody can come up with a lnk... :o

Looks for the life of me that Wrighty took him out.

I've seen another one taken high up from the centre of the grandstand which is even clearer in my opinion - that's why for the life of me I don't understand why Tony Steele got it wrong?!

That's why the whole grandstand went mad!! :nono:

From my vantage point it looked like Kyle could have been excluded, and several at the time said the same thing, but that footage shows a slightly different picture.

It is hard to tell for certain who was at fault, but I think Kyle did appear to lock up a bit, but was hard done by to be excluded.

In defence of the ref, he didn't have the benefit of countless replays from varying angles or even the poor quality phone footage i've seen, he had a snapshot view as the crowd did and had to make a judgement.

It's like anything, refs will err, and rarely will all parties agree. It tends to even itself out over time. Most importantly neither was seriously injured unlike the poor lad today, thoughts and prayers are with him and his family 🙏🙏🙏
