King's Lynn V Leicester (29.07.15)

Recommended Posts

Roughly

Rain now stopped and small patches of blue have appeared in the sky surrounded by white and grey fluffy things that look like marshmallows :P

A good check on the weather is if Wills mother has put her washing out or not.

Absolute disgrace from Leicester. Rider safety was never in danger at the time the 2 mins went on.

3 rider's were out ready for the running of heat 11 except for Doyle

Lucky for the lions that sky wasn't there or heat 10 would of been run to get the result whatever the weather lol

And it should have been run

You do have to question the difference between this match and the Coventry/Poole match on Sky when heat 10 was run in atrocious conditions. Same scenario - rain didn't start until the meeting was well under way. The only difference was the presence of cameras.

And they try to tell us Sky don't have any influence over speedway :mad::mad:

If Doyle was playing the delaying game it is not very sporting and more so its robbing the fans.

Another £3750 of SCB fines then. From Leicester this time!

Yet running heat 10 then abandoning it is?!

Time in previous heat was 6 seconds slower than the norm.. that says it all surely?

The time is irrelevant. All 4 rider's were racing. No wobbling, all 4 completely under control.

This was off because Leicester knew no matter the result of heat 10 they'd leave with nothing.

You honestly think Leicester will leave with anything whenever they visit?

Seems the updater thinks differently...

Comments: Kerr not liking the wet conditions! The slow time says it all.

What about the Cov v Lakeside match that was not on sky .or the countless other times it happens ...wish people would stop going on about sky and heat ten as it happens all the time tv or not .

It shows, whatever happens, some folk will moan.

Had they run Heat 10 then called it off as they did in the Cov match, plus Swindon/Coventry.. folk moan that they just made sure they reached Heat 10.

In this case, they take the decision to abandon it before Heat 10.. and folk moan again they didn't do what they moaned about them doing previously.

Just thinking that myself ...
