Southern Track Riders - Sunday 9th August - King's Lynn

Recommended Posts

With two meetings in two weeks, Southern Track Riders will take to the world famous track of the Adrian Flux Arena on Sunday 9th August starting at 12 noon with rider sign on starting at 10am.

Anyone with their own equipment can join us for an action packed fast paced afternoon of skids and unfortunately spills.

If you wish to join us for this meeting, please contact us to reserve your place.

This meeting is open to all abilities and all classes including all youth classes.

Day licenses are available but we can only issue each rider a maximum of two licenses per season.

A yearly license is available from the ACU and SCB.

Once again, thanks to our very kind sponsors, the trophies for this meeting are supported by Adrian Flux.

Team Harrison had a great day today nice to see lots of old friends sorry Luke delayed the meeting a bit with his ride in the ambulance

It was also good to see you again. Young Luke looked to be going well before his couple of falls, hope it does not knock his confidence too much.

He was going really well until youthful exuberance perhaps got the better of him. "The Box Crew" i.e. ref, announcer and incident recorder are glad to hear Luke's OK.

SUNDAY 9th AUGUST RESULTS:

OPEN CLASS:

1. Rob Hollingworth

2. Ricky Scarboro

3. Mick Skinner

INTERMEDIATE CLASS:

1. Mike Osborne

2. Neal Richmond

3. Sid Higgins

NOVICE CLASS:

1. Lewis Scarboro

2. Stuart Freeman

3. Dave Smith

Good to see a couple of riders having outings in each of the Youth 250cc and Youth 125/150cc classes plus Jeremy Pestell getting in some practice skids.

Apologies from the three of us up in the Official's Box plus Canterbury Dick for not staying for the presentations as we dashed off to Peterborough and got there just as the riders were emerging from the pits for Heat 1 of their league clash with Edinburgh!
