Hob Nob
Should be a good one this. Been really impressed with NL speedway this year, much more exciting than any other Ive watched lately. Lets hope the weather doesn't put a stop to this one. Calling a close one on this with a win for the Raiders.

*JJ
Um ...Brummies have better heat leaders, Raiders have better reserves and second strings. Depends on who has extracted digit! The Brummies usually succeed by hanging in then winning heats 13, 14 and 15.
uk_martin
Birmingham's new riders may find things tricky with some of the adverse camber and sandy surface on the corners...I suspect there may be some fallers. Exactly how many may determine the outcome of this meeting. Do Deano90125 and "Silly Wilfred" still attend? George Hunter eh? Now there's a name from the past. Any relation to the late George Hunter - the former Edinburgh & Wolves rider?
cityrebel
There is a lot of rain predicted to fall on the launch pad in the next few hours. I just hope that uncle Len makes an effort to get this meeting on.

Len won't make any effort as far as I'm aware NL meetings are Andrew's responsibility which is why Raiders meetings tend to have a decent amount of shale down. Judging by the amount of rain today it'll have to be a dry day tomorrow to get this on.

Len is the NL Track Curator with Andrew having had no input to track prep since the infamous dust off. Unfortunately, no one else, especially the riders, have any input either. Brummie Kev
rained all day today and forecast is for the rain not to stop until 06:00 Saturday.Hope its on but have my doubts. Expect an early decision tomorrow one way or another. I will be amazed if it's off, dry sunny spells and warm. On Wednesday there was two hours of heavy rain from 12-2 and yet Cradley didn't call it off because the forecast was excellent for the afteroon. The track if anything was a tad dry, so it's amazing what a few hours of sun beating down on the track can do isn't it. If the forecasts are accurate then 12hrs is sufficient time to produce at the very least a rideable track. We shall see in the morning.... Hob Nob
No news of this being off so I'm heading for Rye tonight. Lets see if Uncle Lens made the track extra grippy for this one 😉
